I know mille fleur cochin has become a very popular new color and I was googling around checking out what people had in different parts of the country. I came across a little gem in California. A lovely gal, Lynne, is on f2 generation and said she is starting to make some exciting progress. I thought I'd post a few pics and see what you all thought.
Here's her first roo as a peep
that same roo at 3 months
Here's another roo, Casanova with some of Tom Roebuck's buff columbians
Here's Rusty the roo who is in with some red she hopes to outcross her milles with to improve color
She is also working on lemon blue and has nice d'uccles in mottled and mille as well as nice blrw. She did not use her d'uccles to get mille. She started with two roos from someone else using the mottled/wheaton/buff combo. She will be selling eggs in the spring so if anyone would like her contact info, I'd be glad to pass it along. Just PM me.
