Sorry guys, I'll try and get some pictures up soon. I've been super busy.

So no one has posted any pictures of their chicks from Lynne in a while. I’ve got three that are doing well. I’ll try and take some pictures of them also.

I hope everybody is hatching up a storm. I can’t wait until it warms a bit.

Just checking in to tell you my F2 girls are starting to lay!

I am so pleased with these 8 girls. They are so friendly, that if I sit down they are all in my lap. Here are some pics.

Tbird, WOW those chicks are growing fast. It looks like you should have plenty of good birds. Oh and by the way, I forgot to tell you that all of your eggs are fertile and due to hatch this Saturday. I’m really excited about it.

Lynne, thanks for updating us all with pictures too. I really need to get out there and take some of mine. It just needs to stop snowing for a day or two. Also I just wanted to make sure and tell you thanks for helping all of us working on Millie Cochins out. With the help from you and your birds we’ll all be a little closer in the years to come.

1. are these cochins?
2. are they millies???


Both are a possibity here and they are purebreds but I dunno if they are cochins or not. The breeder didnt have time to label the eggs so it's a challenge that's fun, yet im curious. I can't find out if their color may be future millie or not so I want your oppinons. They look black, but next to a true black chick they look almost red...it's interesting esp red on the head.

I am hoping soooo badly that this is what they are and possibly this is what their color is....but if it isnt i'll just have to wait and get the real deal

darn, I love baby chicks.

My mf cochins have hatched out yellow. Also with more leg feathering. They *could* be cochins, but I'd be very surprised if they're mf.
