It's individual property rights, beginning with the property of one's own body that trumps all. Once that is dilluted the hell of good intentions is well under way. Q9 sees this, many of you don't.

He made calm pointed statements (for the most part, even in the face of antagonism) and backed them up with factual accounts.
He attempted to use that to bring the conversation to a crux....a principle only to be dragged back into the confusion of peripheral details seeming designed to avoid him arriving at any point he might make that wasn't the one people wanted to hear.
He was poo pooed at every turn.

How long did you want him to continue once he saw it was pointless?

Of all of the forums I hang in this is by far the most statist, blindly trusting, big government worshiping one. Shame, I love the chicken advice.

Q9 stated what he believed to be true, just like you did. After debating for a few days, he saw that it would be pointless to continue and bowed out.

what you see as being poo pooed others see as refuting his claims and bringing up facts to back the counter arguments.
