@webbysmeme Well, It looks like purple - of the same hue matching your glasses frame is starting to show up around the staple, so it's healing cleanly and that's all good to my eyes. Ask your doctor/surgeon if/when is a good time to put dabs of gold coconut oil on it to help with the scaring and keep it from getting to brittle crustiness.
In this winter season your skin could dry a bit too much a have a chapped lips like event and that could really get uncomfortable...
