My name is April , I'm 34 and I've been dreaming of my own small backyard farm for quite some time now. We've recently finished - well 99% finished - our coop where I will *hopefully* soon be raising Jubilee Orpintons God willing they all hatch in our breeders care safe and healthy!
I already have one 5 year old potbelly pig who is not really very useful in the farming sense but is my 5th child who happens to live outdoors , cuz he's quite chonky. He keeps our trees safe from falling and test our front steps for sturdiness daily so in that sense he is quite the essential around here.
We also have 3 cats , 7 dogs , and a majesty palm.
Id like to soon get into gardening as well although I have zero clue as to where to begin. But I did buy some pumpkin seeds on impulse today and we will see how that goes.
