Hi can anyone let me know what breed of chick this is, i also have the cockrell, he is out on loan at the moment, i was told she is a maran someone else says a sussex

she lays light brown same as the ex battery hens i have, but they are alot larger and 90% are double yokers, i think the pair are about 1 1/2 to 2 year old now or there abouts

I think she might be a mix or a mix colored orp. but definitely not a marans

She looks like a mix to me. The pic doesn't show her legs the best, but they look dark. Sussex and Marans both have light legs. I could see some Orp influence in her......not sure what else. They may have been someone's project birds or just pretty mixes.
