Welcome to BYC!

Well, I guess you are going to have to get something figured out soon, what with eggs in the bator!!!

I have never had to deal with laws, so I can't help you much there. You can start in our Local Chicken Laws and How To Change Them section here on BYC for some possible ideas on change those laws....

You can also chat with others in your state thread in hopes someone there can help you with getting these laws changed....

I wish you all the best with this. You could always make them house chickens. Seriously. Lots of members have house chickens here and if you are curious, here is a very active thread on keeping your chickens in the house....

Well, this should get you started. Good luck on the hatch! And keep us posted on this adventure!

Hi and welcome. Ive seen chicken diapers for sale lol. There are several breeds of chickens that arent noisey. U could probably sneak a few in without any1 noticing. I have brahmas and if i didnt have 2 crowing roosters u would never know i had any chickens. May need a stealth coop. A friend of mine uses a gutted out ford bronco as his coop

Seminole County does not allow chickens. We just got a notice from the county to get rid of ours. We've had ours over two years. We have six acres of land zoned rural country too. They are penned in to protect them from bears and well cared for. The lady we talked to from zoning said even though there are chickens all over the area they are illegal.
