Unfortunately yes. We only have hens right now. Our city doesn't allow roosters, even though we have 2 acres of land (we are considering fighting it).It sounds like you have all hens right now?

Our first coop was right outside our bedroom window. 2:30 in the morning, pitch black and no moon, that $^#^!***< would wake up and start crowing. And crowing. And crowing...
We finally moved back to Texas for a little peace and quiet
You guys didn't even need an alarm clock with that rooster. Thanks for the words of advice. DO NOT HAVE COOP NEAR THE BEDROOM.
