Hi there-
I grew up with chickens but this is my first flock in years! Nobody is laying yet but I'm sure looking forward to it. We've got plenty of space and a big Omlet Cube, but my husband has made me promise that this will be IT. I said ok but my fingers were crossed. (He doesnt understand chicken math)

The teenagers (hatchery):
Patsy: barred rock, alpha pullet and my little buddy
George (Georgia): barred cuckoo marans x easter egger, sweet girl, bottom of the pecking order
Dolores: brown easter egger who yells and hates everything

New chick additions (feed store):
Sid: grey easter egger with chipmunk cheeks, likely a Roo
Amelia: white easter egger with chipmunk cheeks

Two new chicks on the way (breeder):
Cream legbar chick (pullet), Swedish Isbar chick (unsexed)

HI and welcome to the flock!

I'm in the same boat as you--grew up with chickens, had some at the beginning of adulthood and am bringing them back with my husbands (begrudging) permission. At the beginning of April he said we could start with 4--we are up to 12 XD Already have our breeds and breeders planned for pre-order next month. I'm hoping for a good hatch of Isbars next spring...It's addicting, isn't it?

Looking forward to seeing your pics, posts and participation as you and your flock grow!
