Welcome Sara. They are so beautiful and look so healthy.Hi all-
I’m a new transplant to Fl from Alaska via military service. In retirement I have taken to backyard gardening and duck keeping.
My flock joined me from Metzer Farms in TN back in February.
My beautiful ladies consist of:
2 Cayuga Persephone and Daphne
2 Magpies - Dorthy(Dottie) and Margie (Mags)
Black Swedish - Big Mama
Black Runner -Zoomer
Blue Runner- Presley (Ms Blue)
Khaki Campbell -Penelope
I also have quite the handsome Silver Appleyard drake named Sir Newton Feathersby (Apple Jacks).
They spend their days foraging the yard and bayou for lizards, worms, crabs, and minnows. Taking their salary from my garden in the form of Swiss chard, kale, watermelon, strawberries, blueberry, broccoli, and much more.
They started laying on 7/7 and have consistently laid 4 eggs a day since. This week they were super productive giving us 9 eggs one day and 6 the last 2 days.
Say hello and if your local and would like eggs please send me a message. Thanks for stopping by and I look forward to learning!
Sara
