Hi I am new here and want to say hi to everybody. I to have not started farming yet. But I plan on it after I move back out West this coming year. I grew up on a self sufficient farm with my grandparents. My grandfather tout me farming and he also raised exotic fowl as a side hobby. So I'm somewhat familiar with different fowl. Id like to start mini farming. So I will be looking for the smallest breeds available.Of chicken, goat, cow, est.o and lol goose.the only thing I need to look at is right breeds for a arid climate.and I plan on raising my stock from the egg.And my others from fresh weend baby's.i find you get better and happier animals when they are somewhat bonded to you. At least your main stock animals.so thanks if anyone can give me some pointers on good breeds to look at feel free to contact

Welcome!

I hope you enjoy BYC; not only is it overflowing with lots of useful information it is also a great place to make friends and have some fun. Unlike non chicken loving friends, family and colleagues, BYC’ers never tire of stories or pictures about chickens, turkeys, duck, quail, Peas and pretty much any other feathered and non feathered friends
