About 31 weeks old. That order of chicks were easter eggers (they claimed Ameraucanas, but the lovely people here told me no way, that they are EEs from TSC and all).

I went to a poultry show and was talking with a breeder. She explained it this way…”A hatchery is focused more so on egg production whereas the preservation breeder is focused on breed standard. Hatcheries are fine if you just want eggs.”

Breeder Quality, Show Quality which are bred to a breed standard.

Hatcheries don't really breed to a standard, so you end up with incorrect colors, patterns, body types and overall smaller body size.

To me she looks like a Brahma or a Brahma mix.

Most likely some type of mix, maybe a brahma mix. She does have a roostery thing about her, though I can't put my finger on it. But if she truly is 31 weeks, then there's no chance, or highly unlikely she's a rooster. As for a 18 week old, it's possible she's a rooster
