Hello!! I’m Alethea, I’m from Missouri. My mom just bought me 44 little chicks!!! lol first time and I’m in looove!
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get?
Yes, I just got some a week ago. My mom used to have them when I was too little to remember.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
44!
(3) What breeds do you have?
Buff orpingtons, barred rock, and some I have no clue lol
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
Interacting with them, they’re so sweet and fun! Also the eggs, I can’t wait to hatch some out.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I’m an artist, dog trainer, and horse rider.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
Well I was researching different questions on my new chicks and saw that everyone on here seems so sweet instead of controversial and judgmental like Reddit. I’m so excited to be a part of the community!
