Hi! My chicken used to have a nice tail but now she has lost feathers around her butt area. Is this a problem????? It is winter in Australia so is this a result of moulting? But seems too severe to just be moulting! Thank you!

16 months is prime time for molting......am guessing you're in the southern hemisphere?
