I saw some chickens in key west last spring and fell in love. Sooo this year when I saw some for sale at the local pet store for easter I bought 2 of the smaller ones hoping for hens... I dont think they are though. Trying oto figure what to from here... I live in the burbs of Houston, and while I don't think the neigbors would mind a few hens, rooster are a definate no go. So now I'm weighing my options and trying to figure out how much time we have before the dreaded chopping block. Thx for any use

Good luck!! Do you know the breeds? There are some breeds that show (sexing) earlier. Keeping my fingers crossed for you.
