So I haven't been able to "Work" for a week and a half now, and I'm going ABSOLUTELY INSANE. I find myself checking my website obsessively...refreshing my email hoping to have something business related...getting disappointed everytime I get a call and it ISN'T for work...

I really miss my busy work days...My biggest issue I guess is what I could be MISSING...What if there's a flood and one of the surge protectors gets wet and starts a fire under one of the aquariums? What if that's my shark aquarium? What if it's the coral tank? What if my employees don't answer the phone or answer an email promptly?

I really miss being the boss.

Just had to rant a bit...this is really getting to me. I don't know how much longer I can handle it.

"I'm going absolutely insane", and how long a trip is that for Em the Elder?

Em, I can relate. I am unable to relax UNLESS I am laid out in a beach chair by the ocean reading a good book or noting the new styles of bathing suits that walk by.

Hopefully this too shall pass and you can get back to being the "BOSS".

Ok, ok, so I was already insane...but this might just drive me back to sanity! And that's a place I just don't want to be.

My version of relaxing is WORKING. I enjoy it. It's what I *do*. I don't like giving up control of anything, much less my business.

Actually, I cheated and did some aquariums on Saturday.

I've actually passed the time cleaning, playing with Lily and watching my critters.

Although, I think Lily is getting tired of me always hanging around.

Seriously. She is such a brat. I went off the porch today just to wash our the outdoor rug, and she looked at me very seriously and said "BYYYYEEE"

Jeez, I can take a hint kid...

What does nice live rock go for now? It would cost me a small fortune to get my tank running and stocked again. DH and I co-owned a pet store years ago and we have an old custom display tank thats about 58 gallons. We had it full of Figi live rock and it was pretty nice stuff back then. Oh man, now I really miss my soft corals.
