Live in Sonoma, Ca. Have 8 button quail, 6 of which I hatched, as pets in backyard aviary. Incubating 13 eggs, set at day 14, today is Day 18. One hatched. Previously I had 75% hatch rate. Do you set at 14 days, temp 37.5/99.5? Using Joenelle 12

Howdy, :frow and Welcome to Backyard Chickens.

Happy :ya to have you here with us. Enjoy your time here at BYC!

Button quail eggs have an incubation period of 16 days, give or take a day, due to 'hot' or 'cool' spots in the incubator. Humidity should be set around 40 to 45%Rh for 13 days, then raised to 50 to 60% for the final 3 or 4 days of the incubation period.

Thanks for joining our community! :celebrate
