My name is Tanya and my husband's name is Josh...
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
Very New...just starting
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? None...we are starting from scratch
(3) What breeds do you have? None
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? For now, we want it as a hobby. Something for my husband and I to do together. Maybe turn it into a business eventually
(5) What are some of your other hobbies? Sewing, Cooking,
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. My husband and I married in August. We are both on 2nd marriages. We have 6 children between the two of us. We have 2 fur babies, one feisty Chihuahua named Hershie and one supper playful Boston terrier mutt named Gusser (aka Gus) I am a Graphic Artist working for an advertising company. I design artwork for billboards. My husband is an assistant manager at a storage building company.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I found your website and looked around and realized there is a lot of great information on it. I look forward to reading more on your website and hopefully find some good information about starting up our own little coop.
