Thanks for the reassurance everyone. I wish I COULD let mine free range even just during the day, but all I would have is fat Coyotes if I did.

I was under the impression that they do not what they like and what they do not like... and what is good for them too. I guess the do's and don'ts list freaked me out a bit...

They probably do know best, with a bit of guidance and a watchful eye I am sure they will be fine.

We fed raw dry pinto beans to our turkeys and nothing bad happened. The chickens may have taken some too, but I just remember how much the turkeys liked them.
