Can I put Hardwire cloth on the bottom of my run to keep predators out?

After losing a pullet to a mink that is exactly what I did. Consider covering the screen with sand or some other bedding.

It depends what your trying to keep out, but a heavy grade hardware cloth should make it difficult for anything to get in.
