Hi My name is Charlene. New to the Forum and having a big problem. I have been raising free range chickens for 3 years. My chickens are 5 weeks old, and have started dying. They just sit there and die. Can anyone help me with this problem. I have no idea what is going on. I am lossing about 5 a day.

  2. Is there feather loss, runny poop, pale combs or something else that could hint what is wrong?

    Good Morning
There is no Blood, Poop seems fine. They look fine as well. I know it is really wierd. the only thing I have done is started to switch them from starter to grower. I may have done it to fast. I took a little over 2 weeks to completly switch them to grower.

I doubt that it's your switching their feed. I usually just switch mine in a day and I've never had problems.
    Are they acting lethargic?
Have you picked them up and felt them over?
One of my hens just died like that and it ended up being worms. If they're real skinny and their bones are poking out that's probably what it is.
    What color is their poop?
