Hi! From Long Island Ny! We've been raising chickens for 11 years. We have 5 kids 2 HUGE dogs, 28 chickens, and 32 in an incubator:) THAT, just started to pipe through;) this is our first incubator hatch! I've always used a hen. This is much more nerve racking!! And I totally feel like I'm giving birth! Lol (PROUD MOMMA!!) NICE TO MEET YA'll!!;)

Welcome to BYC!

Congrats on the first hatchling!! Incubating your own eggs is very rewarding. It never gets old watching an egg turn into a tiny life. My heart still melts at the sight of a hatching baby, no matter how many times I have seen it.

Enjoy all your adventures in life and I hope the rest of you hatch goes well!!! Welcome to our flock!
