Lyra continued teaching her names of things that were normal to humans, as well as telling her the uses for them. She stopped when it drew close to lunch time, standing up and smiling at her "While this is a great way to learn, it can cause your eyes to hurt if you look at the screen too long, so let's pause and get back to it later."

Aaran dropped his gaze. He had messed up,"I'm sorry you have to go, Princess. What are my orders?" He asked obediently.

Kristen twirled back blushing,"Mates?" She whispered and blushed again and looked away for a moment. When she looked back she was smiling slightly, but she was still embarrassed.

Elina looked back at Aaran and shrugged. "I am not in need of your assistance. Check with one of the generals." She then left the room.

Tyr came over and looked at Elina retreating form. "Foot in mouth much?" He asked quietly.

Orson nodded at Kristen. "Well, for me at least. That's how I feel. I didn't mean to embarrasses you. I'm sorry. There is no is no problem, if you don't feel the same. " He said quietly.

"You have seen one of these before too. They can be dangerous, but must stay on the tracks to move. If they come off, they have to stop, though that causes a giant mess and usualy injures many" Lyra said and sighed.

"I am fine my love" Anna said as she dabbed at some of his wounds. "They simply put me in here and left me alone. This is Bertram, a waterhorse. Apparently they have left him here to starve" It was a warning couched in an introduction so that he would know the way things currently stood.

Aurora nodded then hugged her daughter close again, glancing to the door and Nisha. She raised her voice a little to be heard easily "It is not easy to rest now, but until the others get here we have no choice. We cannot do this alone, no matter how much we want to.Do you think it is easy for me to leave friends behind? It's not. It was either leave with who I could get free or have all of us captured and none of you to know where the entrance is or what happened" She stated then stood "I must rest to recharge my energy, but when we go back in, we will not use that entrance, we will use Orson's entrance and surprise them. We will destroy this place that dares to threaten our lives and our families. We will win" 

Zypher glanced over at Bertram and nodded greetings. He also noticed the hunger. "I think I'll heal shift now. I've never met a water horse. " He said as he got to his knees and shifted then shifted back. "Oh, that's much better." He then embraced Anna. "I was so worried about you, my heart." He whispered softly into her ear. He then kissed her neck, before burying his nose into her hair. He breathed deeply to take in her lovely scent.

Bertram was relieved that the temptation was removed. He took in a steadying breath.

Nektar stood up from the corner, he was sitting in. "Hello. I'm Nektar and I'm not going to hurt you." He said quietly. But stayed where he was.

Cadeon stayed in place. They didn't need her storming out in a fury.

Zypher glanced over at Bertram and nodded greetings. He also noticed the hunger. "I think I'll heal shift now. I've never met a water horse. Ember focused on the chimera then looked around again before starting to settle her feathers back into place. "I am Ember." She said as she worked on straightening some feathers that had gotten pushed wrong when they moved her

"Nashton!" She pulled away and ran over to hug him,"I thought you got away! Are you alright?" She hugged him tighter.

Nashton watched as Taylor pulled away. His eyes grew large as the gaurd said, "Remember what I said. Skunk boy."

"Taylor! I'm so happy to see you again. No, I got shot with a tranquilizer. " He said embarrassed. He whispered, "If you try anything, they have orders to shoot me for real."

Anna returned his hug, holding him close. She was so glad they had been put together, though the reason behind that might  be one she wouldn't like later on. She wouldn't think about that right now and simply closed her eyes as she held him close.

Zypher growled softly as he squeezed her reassuringly. He then pulled back to look at her face. "Do you think they got away? " He asked quietly.

"That is a wonderful name. Are you a phoenix? I've never seen a blue one before." Nektar said conversationally.

Anna nodded then sighed and shrugged "I hope so, I haven't seen or heard anything about any of them." She said worriedly then glanced over to Bertram again, standing a bit straighter and taking Zypher's hand in hers. "Jason knows what to do if anyone in the pack is captured."

Zypher followed her glance. He then brought her hand up and kissed it gently. "I never thought I'd see you again. I was haunted by all the things I should have done and didn't. When we get out of this, I'll never take you for granted again, Anna." He said with conviction.

Bertram smiled sadly at the couple. It hurt his heart to not have that connection to another.

Nektar smiled proudly. "Yes, I am. But fear not, I'm not evil, I promise." He explained calmly.
