Star shook her head a little then hugged him tightly. "Thank you." She said then softly kissed his cheek.

Kyra smiled again, looking back out to the view again. She saw a few butterflies flitting about the branches.
~~~
Angela took a deep breath then nodded and looked toward the way they had to go. "I will try." She said with determination.
~~~
It wasn't long before another van pulled up with Don and a few wolves pulled up. Don got out and came over as Anna turned to open her door.

Jackie nodded and reached over to touch his arm gently. "Give yourself time, you are free once again. You can find out things like that again." She said encouragingly

Falkirk smiled at Star and said, "You are entirely welcome."

Graydon did the same. Still thinking about how truly happy he was.

"That's all any of us can do, is try." Nektar said as he opened his arm and stood beside her. Giving her all the time she needed.

Zypher looked to the Alpha Guardian as he moved to offer him his seat.

"You are most kind, ma'am. I think I shall take you up on that. If you don't mind, that is." Bertram said respectfully.

"We are on the far side of Anstopfia. It is a vast world and this ocean takes up a third of it. Shall we shift and run to the beach? " Jackdaw asked hopefully.

Degan laughed loudly. "If you got a dragon, you'd need a really, really large den." He said with humor.
~~~
Aeval spread her wings and launched off the top of the mountain. She glided on the up draft. It felt good to travel with little effort. She eventually started her decent to land in the river. She then settled into the cool water that only came up halfway on her side. She eagerly drank with her sisters. Ena soon turned to watch Dust. She made a soft sound of contentment.

Dawn shifted and took off with out saying a word. She looked back at him as she ran and barked.

"No I wouldn't. I'd have to whole forest to myself, and the dragon and you of course.."
~~~~~
Dust slide off her back into the water. He swam to shore before taking a long drink and swimming back to her. He swam around her for a while before going to shore and repeating the process.

Aaran frowned, worried. Why was the king so weak? He went and stood beside Elina to be useful when the portal opened.

"Maybe so but call me a pussycat again and I might consider it." Taylor rolled her eyes and snuggled next to him,"But I forgive you. A little bit."

Kristen laughed,"I mean you act younger and you look more relaxed. You aren't thinking hard about anything serious, and it makes me feel relaxed too."

Racine was glad they were off that noisy highway. He glanced over at the silent Oilin. It looked like Orson but he didn’t act like him. "If you are a replica of an original, do you share the same name? What are you called? " He asked curiously, as they walked through the forest.

The Oilin's look alike turned to look Racine in the eyes and stated in a deep voice. "My name and opinions are not required. But since you have asked this of me, I shall grant you this knowledge. I am called Harbinger."

Racine slowed down and looked at Harbinger. "And who gave you this name?" He asked quietly.

"My master." Harbinger said, without taking his eyes,away from Racine.

The hair on the back of Racine's neck stood up. He was about to ask something else, but a portal light caught his attention.

Elina smiled at Aaran in gratitude as she opened the portal and went to step through.

Nashton scoffed at her. "Yeah, right. I'll believe that when I feel you teeth at my neck." He said.

Orson smiled and nodded, "Yes, escape was always forefront in my mind. But as of late, more pleasant things have occupied my thoughts. Mainly you, sweet Kristen. " He replied softly and ended with a twirl.

Dawn shifted and took off with out saying a word. She looked back at him as she ran and barked.

Jackdaw was stunned by the suddenness of Dawn's departure. He then chuckled and shouted, "I'll just take that as a yes!" He then shifted and ran full boar, to catch up with her.

Degan put his hands on his hips and looked at Zia sternly. "Oh, so that's the order of things? Forest, dragon and then me? Just remember, I knew you when." He finished in a teasing way.

Dust's actions finally caught Aeval's and her sisters attention. "What are you doing?" She asked curiously.

Soon enough the little hummingbird returned, followed by another as they came to drink nectar again even as the light began to fade from the sky.

Angela glanced to him then reached for his hand to continue the journey to her dole's village.
~~~
Don nodded to him then glanced to the others as he was informed of the plan made so far and what they needed of him. "Our watchers have said they are going into the city to hunt. I am not sure if they will do this, given how many could be hurt, but we can ask."

Jackie smiled at him and nodded "I don't mind. There is plenty enough to do around here that cannot be done by magic, even if I wanted to waste my gift like that"

Danika rose, stretching before heading out to find a field to graze in for a little while. She looked around, as always sad to see less of the forest, but glad she was still there and that the forest was healing around her.

Aaran stepped out of the portal, but he now had a terrible headache. He leaned against a tree for support and moaned,"What is that?" He slowly sank to the ground and held his head in his hands,"I'm sorry, I'll be a minute." He gasped and waved for them to keep going.

Taylor laughed,"I'm not going to eat your head, I promise, okay? Just keep me well fed with plenty of sunshine and fresh air and you'll be fine."

Kristen smiled and twirled back,"Yeah, but I miss way back when sometimes. Life was a little less crazy, but I like freedom. No more cafeteria food that tastes like cardboard."

Dust looked up at her and swam back to shore. He shifted and looked at him. "Nothing. I like water."

"But we didn't travel to the city. So they must be after a different group or individual. Do your watches have an ETA for the units headed for Jackie's? " Zypher asked curiously.

Bertram nodded and said, "I do see that part of your garden fence is in disrepair. I could help with the rebuild, if you'd like."
