Aaran stepped out of the portal, but he now had a terrible headache. He leaned against a tree for support and moaned,"What is that?" He slowly sank to the ground and held his head in his hands,"I'm sorry, I'll be a minute." He gasped and waved for them to keep going.

Taylor laughed,"I'm not going to eat your head, I promise, okay? Just keep me well fed with plenty of sunshine and fresh air and you'll be fine."

Kristen smiled and twirled back,"Yeah, but I miss way back when sometimes. Life was a little less crazy, but I like freedom. No more cafeteria food that tastes like cardboard."

Elina looked to her brother, then glanced to Aaran at his distress. She searched around, but didn't see anything that would cause such agony. "Enoch, stay with him. Find out what's wrong. I have to see to Racine.

Racine was relieved to see his sister. He glanced to Harbinger and grew suspicious, because he was smirking. He left him, to walk over to Elina. "It is good to see you all." He said as he looked to the rest of the generals that had accompanied her. "Thorn, Saber, Xton and Tyr." He said in greeting. But before he could finish, they all placed a hand upon him and started chanting. He just smiled in appreciation at the gift of their power. In no time, he was back to himself. He sighed softly in relief. "Thank you. " He said with conviction.

Enoch knelt down by Aaran. "Are you alright? Are you ill?" He asked concerned about his friend.

Nashton snorted, "Yeah, because you an actually eat that." He then made a high pitched voice and said, "Oh, I simply cannot eat another ray of sunshine. I could just burst! "

Orson chuckled, "I will never miss being a captive, but the food had it's purpose. It was at least edible." He said reflectively.

Dawn didn't slow for him. She kept running and running although she didn't know where she was going. She loved running, but she kept her distance from the shore.

"Golly gee you're right! I forgot about my sword! Forest, sword, dragon and you." She teased back.

Dust looked up at her and swam back to shore. He shifted and looked at him. "Nothing. I like water."

Jackdaw quickly caught up to Dawn. He was sure to keep his thorny spikes far away from her. He looked to Dawn and growled playfully.

Degan grabbed his chest like he had been stabbed. He said dramatically, "Oh! How she wounds me."

Aeval shook her head I'm merriment. "You always surprise me Dust. Just when I think I might know something about you, you do a 360°." She complimented.

"But we didn't travel to the city. So they must be after a different group or individual. Do your watches have an ETA for the units headed for Jackie's? " Zypher asked curiously.

Bertram nodded and said, "I do see that part of your garden fence is in disrepair. I could help with the rebuild, if you'd like."

Star looked to him again and smiled "I would love to learn this from you" She said honestly.

Kyra quietly got up to stir and check on their stew then returned to him to watch the sky's colors as the day creatures started to settle to their homes to sleep

Angela walked the remaining distance to the village quietly. She looked around, searching the quiet square for her grandfather or any other of her dole, hoping someone else had come here.

"They were simply after food, since nothing remains in the forest." Don replied then shrugged and frowned a little "Differing times, the closest will get there in about 20 minutes, she should be getting a warning call soon.

Jackie smiled and nodded "Yes, that would be a help, I can't get it to stay straight when I put it back in place" She said then shrugged a little "Carpentry is not my strong suit" She replied then turned to go answer the phone.

"Why would I do a complete circle if I was trying to confuse you? Would I not just be facing you once more?" He asked, confused.

Elina looked to see the Oilin look alike. "Where did you find the Oilin? " She asked curiously.

Racine glanced back at Harbinger and said in a whisper, "He is a doppelganger of the Oilin. Markus made him. I exchanged a warding for him. But something is off with him. He sounds nothing like Orson. I don't think we should take him home. We'll take him to our secondary cave to hold him. This Markus will be tracking him, I'm sure."

Enoch thought and said to Aaran, "Let's get you back into the portal and see if that helps."

Falkirk blushed beyond his control. "Just as I would love to teach you." He said genuinely. He then went about showing her the basics.

Nektar also looked around for any moment or flutter of feathers.

Zypher facepalmed. "I'm sorry sir, I thought you were talking they were hunting Markus's men." He explained his confusion.

"I worked for a time on a farm. Fence mending was one of my duties." He said with renewed usefulness.

"Relax, it is I! I created a form that's less menacing. How do you like it? I'm less like a thorn bush this way. " Jackdaw said simply.

Degan shook his head quietly and looked around. The then started down stream. "Well, I'll leave you to it then. Maybe I'll see you around." He said.

Aeval waded over to the shore. She climbed out and shifted, so she could look up into Dust's eyes. "Not in the lest. You are a rare soul. For you have captured my attention and have held it steady ever since. You intrigue me, challenge me and evoke a strong bond from me. There is nothing negative about you Dust. There never could be. " She explained to him. She almost reached out to touch him, but stopped herself. She remembered in time and scolded herself, because he didn't like that.
