Star listened and closed her eyes. After a moment she started to sing along as she remembered some of the song.

Kyra shook her head "I think some are closer than others, and that makes them brighter, but I am not sure" She answered then shrugged

Angela looked down then lay on her side, closing her eyes though she hadn't gone to sleep. She was wide awake and going through all the what ifs in her mind.

Anna and Jason got out of the van, looking around the garage and waiting for everyone to join them so they could go up to their apartment.

Jackie moved to hold him up under his arm to help him stand "Easy, you can't have been in this form much" She said quietly

Falkirk smiled as he sang along with her.

"That makes a lot if sense." Graydon agreed.
~~~
Nektar closed his eyes and gave into sleep.

Aurelius and Arran stepped out and stood by Ashton.

Zypher asked Jason, "Leave the guns of bring them up?"

The creature smiled in appreciation. "No not long at all." He explained.

Bertram shifted to his kelpie form. "I'll ride you both back. " He volunteered as he got down on the ground for easy mounting.

The creature looked at the massive black horse. Then back to Jackie again.

"Okay, sure. We should think of something really fun to do, not just in the city. Really, all we do is swim, eat, and play in fountains." Sirène said with a slight chuckle. "What would be fun to do? We could explore the mountains for a day or something. That'd be fun, in my opinion." Sirène suggested to Keldwyn.

"That sounds like an adventure. Not to mention a lot of fun!" Keldwyn agreed. She smiled happily at the prospect of the mountain hike.

Aaran stopped talking and just listened to the echoes of their footsteps as they walk,"It's kinda creepy." He whispered again.

Taylor stiffened and tried to stay angry. But he was so cute sometimes though... She gritted her teeth and sighed.

Kristen let the kiss last a little longer but she broke away for air. She smiled and kissed him again tenderly,"You still taste a little bit like crocodile." She teased.

Elina smiled as she opened the portal to the cave. "It's alright if you don't like it. It's common place for me." She said gently.

Nashton sat up and offered Taylor his hand. "Shall we?" He asked with a wide grin.
~~~
Orson smiled, "Even after biting that creature? That'sa strong crocodile. " He teased back.

Aaran grinned as they entered the cave,"I understand why you want to leave but personally I like it here. No sun, and lots of food. Okay, now I sound like a vampire or something."

Taylor nodded but didn't even touch his hand. She left the car without him.
~~~
"Either that or they all taste the same..." She grimaced and remembered something,"I slapped you, didn't I? I'm so sorry!" She blushed,"I thought you were the thing!"

Bellatrix got ready and this time simply gave Danika a nod before beginning the fight. Usually there wouldn't be a warning for exactly when a sword fight would start, so Bellatrix wasn't going to make her warning as obvious.

"I wish I could fly. Though, even if I could, I would still be a dark unicorn." Vorsicht said with a shrug.
"It's an honor to be in the presence of a goddess." Avenir told Fay. Though Avenir didn't really worship the gods and goddesses, they were still higher ranking and deserved respect.

(I don't know. I'll check.)

Danika was ready and started by blocking again. She waited for her opportunity to strike out at her trainer, She wanted to show that she had learned so much from her.

Fay tilted her head a little then looked to Avenir to dip her head in thanks before looking back to Vorsicht "You would change what you are? The gift you were given with your birth? Do you know why there are dark unicorns in every generation?"

"Either that or they all taste the same..." She grimaced and remembered something,"I slapped you, didn't I? I'm so sorry!" She blushed,"I thought you were the thing!"

Elina giggled, "Are you speaking about the cave or the void? She asked curiously.

Nashton rolled his eyes. "Moody MUCH?!" He called after her. He then climbed out and smiled slightly at Zypher as he looked at him sternly. "Um, not you, sir. Taylor."

Zypher chuckled as he shook his head, "I gathered that. You're always going on about her. Now excuse me, son. You're in my way." He said.

Nashton grinned widely and blushed a bit. "Oops! Sorry!" He stepped out of the doorway of the van and went to stand by Taylor.

"Leave them, it should be safe, and we will be bringing more back down with us" Jason answered. "And if we have to turn around, they will be here for us"

Jackie smiled and helped get him on the horse. She sat behind him "Thank you Bertram, that is kind of you" She said as she got settled in place. "You don't have to worry about falling off." She said as she looked to the creature again. "Do you have a name?"

When the song ended, Star blinked and looked back down to her hands. She didn't know what to say or even if she should speak after that duet.

After a while, Angela moved and looked over to him before getting back up. She went back out to the village and looked from one cabin to the next, searching.

Falkirk was speechless as well. He glanced at Star and wondered what she was thinking.

Graydon reached over and offered his hand to Kyra. He just felt like holding her hand while they shared this moment.

Bertram shifted at some point and glanced over at Angela's empty bed. He sat up alarmed. He listened intently and scented the air. He didn’t smell anything out of place. He got up to check on her. He was a little overprotective, he'd admit it.

Zypher shut the side door to the van. "I have this whole garage under surveillance. " He said, as head head to the elevator with the others.
~~~
The creature looked back a Jackie and shook his head, "Thank you, Bertram." He repeated Jackie's words. Then answered her question, "Only called Gen-one."

Bertram got up and looked to Sergio as she took to the air. He started trotting back to Jackie's house.

"The cave definitely! I like it here! It's much more comfortable than any of my other homes. The people are friendlier too."

Taylor sighed,"One minute." She went outside to see if they had a hose in the backyard. When she stepped onto the sidewalk, she tripped on someone's shoe and he tripped and fell on top of her,"Ouch..Sorry..." They both said in sync then laughed.

Taylor pulled herself out from under him,"Wow, I'm really sorry about that. I wasn't looking where I was going." She smiled and held out her hand to help the person up but she gasped when she saw his face,"Ray?"

"Tay? I haven't seen you in forever!" He stood up and embraced her,"Wow, you grew up a lot."

Taylor laughed,"You sound like an old man when you say that. You're only a year older than me so don't pretend to be so superior." She hugged him again,"I missed you so much.."

Kristen smiled,"If you had seen yourself, you would've slapped yourself too. Seriously the thing couldn't have been more opposite of you."

Danika was ready and started by blocking again. She waited for her opportunity to strike out at her trainer, She wanted to show that she had learned so much from her.

Bellatrix was noticing how much Danika had improved. Though, if she was done training would depend on if she beat Bellatrix or not.

Vorsicht looked at her and shrugged, "No, I don't. Everyone just sees me as either a dirty mutt, even though my blood isn't any different from other unicorns, or an evil creature, even though I try to avoid hurting others when I can." She said. Avenir listened intently. If Fay knew why there was always a dark unicorn, maybe it could shed some good light on Vorsicht.

"That sounds like an adventure. Not to mention a lot of fun!" Keldwyn agreed. She smiled happily at the prospect of the mountain hike.

Sirène smiled at Keldwyn, "Great, then we can go as soon as possible. It'll be a lot of fun, looking at new territory. Maybe we'll meet some shifters, or find some magical artifacts, that's always fun." She said excitedly.

Angela had circled around, checking each of the cabins in the area. She had just entered one and hadn't seen him come out

Jason nodded and went with him and Anna to get in the elevator with them. "All the more reason we shouldn't need our guns right now"

"He doesn't even have the decency to give you a real name? We will have to remedy that." Jackie said and thought about a name for this creature. "How about Garth, do you like that for a name?"
