Falkirk grinned and reached out his hand for hers on the couch. He was perfectly content to be wherever Star wanted to be.

Jackdaw went back to eating. Thinking about what was to come. If the rite fight was to be fought in animal form, he had it made. Even aginst Vatgkan's fey animal. Jackdaw knew Vatgkan was really good with the sword. But his own skills would be in question, for he hadn't practiced in over a century. So he was bound to be rusty. "Prince Falkirk, could I impose upon you to help me practice my sword arm? I fear I'm quite lacking in that department. " Jackdaw asked timidly.

Falkirk looked to Jackdaw in surprise. "You do remember that I'm not very good with swords myself? But if it's my assistance you require, then you shall have it. But I highly doubt, they will allow you to have a weapon." He replied honestly.

Spyro stepped forward and offered, "I can arrange sparing swords. They are not sharpened and don't pose a threat."

Falkirk nodded, "Spyro, that would be greatly appreciated. Thank you." He said graciously. He then watched as Spyro went to the door to send for them.

Graydon watched Kyra curiously. "What are you doing now? Are you trying to get some sleep? " He asked as he laid down beside her on the floor. But after a moment, he leaned up on his elbow to look down upon her. He marveled at how beautiful Kyra was and he slowly started to drawn in closer to her. He abruptly stopped mid motion and scolded himself for thinking such thoughts about his friend. His only friend and he mustn't ruin that friendship.

Jaxon smiled at the image of Orson and Kristen. "Yes, he carried Kristen away like a sack of potatoes. He was very determined to get her to the woods." He replied softly. He glanced over to Skylar and blushed.

Bertram asked, "Do you want me to track them and find them?"

Cadeon sat down beside Bob and softly stroked his head. "This little guy sure does sleeps deep or he's just that tired. " He said softly to Ember. But then looked to the kitchen as he heard the back door open.

"Your wish is my everlasting dream. " Orson replied through their bound, as he shifted. However, once in his human form, he embraced Kristen to bowed her backwards until he held her suspended in his arms. But he paused only inches from her lips, "You drive me to distraction. You are fast becoming all I can think about. My lips are like the parched desert sand, eagerly awaiting relief. While you're the distant rain upon the horizon, promising all that I desire to live again. Save me from my torment, lavish my deprived lips with your life-giving essence." He whispered, as he looked from her eye to her lips longingly.

"In the times I was last awake, it was the giant named Goliath, but the boy killed him. He was not put to sleep." Aeval said as she shifted and took to the air to fly where Aurora needed her.

Ericsson grinned widely and nodded, "Yes, I found my wolf lacking in many areas. So I'm going with Rumpelstiltskin. Besides I couldn't think of another wolf based fairy fail." He explained as he started walking into the deep closet after Rosie.

Once the helicopter was landed, Chevez cut the engine and moved to get the gear they'd need to climb down the to the cavern, out of the back.

Markus stepped out and looked around at the dense growth. He then looked to Don and Xavier. He was glad to see Xavier had his movement back. He wasn't looking forward to dragging him along. Markus's phone rang and he stepped off to the side to answer it.

Zypher grinned as he saw Aurelius waiting in the elevator with Degan. She smiled and dipped her head. "I figured you'd want to save some time. Considering the dire circumstances." She said softly.

Zypher nodded and guided Anna into the elevator first, then followed as the others filed in after them. "You're very astute as always, my dear." He said with appreciation.

Ender bowed to queen Avalon as she handed him the sealed parchment. She'd informed him of her decision. Agreeing to allow King Racine's request. He turned on his heel and headed out of the throne room. He mind was still blocked to all, including his queen. Once outside the door, he used the portal pendant to head strait to Racine to deliver her message.

Starr blinked, holding Falkirk's hand gently as she listent to them talk about sparring. She glanced over to Spyro and wondered if it would be anything like when they were trying to teach her "Should we move the furniture to give you two more room?" She asked curiously

Kyra blinked and looked up at him then shook her head and tried to not laugh any more "Maybe?" She said, flushed from how close he was and how much she had been laughing.

Jackie looked back to them and raised an eyebrow in curiosity "A sack of potatoes?" She asked then shook her head "Yes, please Bertram. Just be careful.:

Skylar flushed too, smiling and trying not to laugh at the image.

Ember watched him with Bob then looked to the door and smiled "Well, that was fast" She said quietly, moving to be certain it was Jackie and the others returning

Kristen laughed softly at being bent back like that, wrapping her arms around the back of his neck to hold on to him. She smiled up at him then pulled herself that little bit closer to kiss him tenderly with a twirl.

"Goliath? No that was a different one, that one had nothing to do with this one. This was much later on" Aurora said then told her the story of Jack and the beanstalk, and that that was the son of the sleeping giant.

Rosie giggled again "And what is your toll then?" She asked, moving to one side to keep from being pinned, though this moved her closer to a corner.

Don got out and looked around then shifted to take in the scents of the area.He turned his head this way and that to get an overall 'view' of the area then looked to the humans again. His dark grey and black coat would blend perfectly with shadows, hiding him when he was not in plain view like this. He had lighter grey around his muzzle, showing his age a little, though it really shouldn't have been unexpected, since his human form looked to be forty or so.

Anna smiled and got in the elevator, waiting till the doors were closed to hug Auralis "I am really glad you chose to stay with us" She said quietly.

Jackdaw was relieved that Falkirk was going to help him further. So he ate with purpose. Hurrying to finish the rest of his meal.

Falkirk nodded, "Yes, that's a very good idea. You keep Jackdaw company, while he finishes. Spyro and myself can manage fine." He replied as he kissed the back of Star's hand, before getting up.

Spyro came back from the door and started helping to move the furniture with Falkirk.

Graydon saw Kyra flush and was mortified he'd been the cause. He pulled back and flopped onto his back. He sighed deeply and looked up at the ceiling. "Well, in that case, this isn't a bad place to rest, then. You just have the occasional gawking squirrel and the finger licking butterflies." He said with a chuckle.

Jaxon pressed his lips together seeing Skylar's struggle to keep from laughing. Which of course sparked his own levity.

Bertram nodded to Jackie and turned to shift. He quickly galloped around to the front of the house. He paused just a moment to scent the air, before followed in the direction the Oilin scents led.

Cadeon carefully got up to investigate with Ember. He was still tense from their newest threat and the lack of details.

Orson sighed deeply and lavished Kristen's lips with equal affection. He returned her twirl and vowed to never let her out of his arms. But he pulled away in alarm, he was panting softly as he listened intently. He growled at the unmistakable sounds of hoof beats getting closer. Upon instinct, he straightened with Kristen and moved her to just behind him. He then scanned the area and let loose a pure primal roar in warning.

Bertram slowed and called out in entry, "Jackie has need if you. I would not have intruded otherwise. There is a new threat."

Aeval listened to the fantastical tale. She'd never here it's like. She noticed the change in the landscape as they neared the city. She thought of how much Dust didn't like the smell. She was inclined to agree with him. For up in the air, it was far worse. But she followed Aurora dutifully as she flew.

Ericsson made a show of thinking. He even rubbed his chin in thought for dramatized effect. "What are you offering? " He finally asked. Figuring it would make it interesting.

Markus wasn't concerned about Don attacking him. Pariah was his personal protection. He didn't bother with bodyguards anymore. For his wellbeing superseded his commands to her. She would attack all who tried to harm him."Do you smell him?" Markus asked quietly, as he took dome gear from Chevez.

Xavier stood quietly and sent out a search spell. It didn't go far, due to the collar. But it showed no ambush awaiting them. Not that he wouldn't mind getting free. But death was not the way he wanted to achieve it.

Aurelius hugged Anna tightly. "As I'm glad you offered me a home. I've never claimed to have one before. I got your pack settled with no problems. They are quite impressed with you, Anna." She said happily.

Zypher smiled at their exchange. It was the physicality of what they were all fighting for. Pack and family, territory and home, freedom of choice. Zypher looked to Nashton and clapped him on the back. "You did me proud, kid. You got the job done, while I wasn't looking." He replied softly.

Nashton beamed up at Zypher."Thanks, you taught me well, sir." He said with respect.

When the doors opened, he was surprised. Time flew when you were having fun. He just never had a reason to believe it before. " We took the express elevator, I guess. " He said with humor as he stepped out to lead the way to the penthouse.

Starr smiled and got up, moving closer to Jackdaw so they could get the couch to the side of the room. She took the other char at the table, looking over to the fey wolf then back to the other two males. "This should be interesting, even as a practice bout" She said softly.

Kyra snorted laughter at that, turning back and covering her face again. Her laughter was silent and her shoulders were shaking from it, even as it brought tears to her eyes. Finally she turned to him and half laid over his chest so she could cover his mouth with one hand and give herself a chance to stop for a minute.
(I had to look away, lol. That just sounds so wrong to say. I actually have laughing tears right now)

Skylar drew in a deep breath, still smiling, but managing to reign in her levity for now, there were more pressing matters to tend to right then and that was able to keep her from getting too far in laughing right then.

Jackie watched Bertram leave then went to her bowl to try to look in on the giant, if she could. It was much easier with something that belonged to the one you searched for, but could be done without that.

Ember reached for his hand then glanced to Bob before going to the kitchen with him to see what was going on now.

Kristen sighed and leaned against Orson's back a little "Reality comes crashing back in again" She said softly then came to stand at his side as they listened to Bertram. "Time to go back t the house I guess"

Aurora glanced over to her "I have us illusioned to not be seen, we are going to that rooftop there." She said, pointing with a front claw. "I hope you can land light." She added then chuckled "Have you ever tried to almost land then shift to land as light as a human jumping?"She asked then dipped down to do just that to show her. She would fly down and backwing, shifting about a foot off the roof to land in her human form.

"Hmm...you go from a toll to a bargain?" Rosie asked and chuckled "Well now...how about a kiss?" She asked with a grin.

Don snorted then shifted back to his human form with a frown "I can't scent it at all from here, just nature. It's possible the cavern is sealed to make it impossible to find through scent, I do not know" He said then looked to Marcus "It's either that or after a thousand years, he has no scent anymore, but that is just scary to think of the implications of that"

"Thank you" Anna said and smiled at her then looked to the doors, going out when they arrived at the penthouse hallway. She followed Zypher out of the elevator to get what they would need and talk to Angela.

Racine looked up at the bright light as Ender stepped through the portal. He leaned back in his chair and watched Ender closely. "I hope you bring good news." He said good-naturedly. But frowned as he noted Ender's mood. "Problems?" He asked curiously as he indicated the chair in front of his desk. Ender ignored the chair and held out the sealed parchment. Once Racine took it, Ender started walking around the tent, looking at various things while he waited. Racine followed him with his eyes, before focusing on opening the wax seal. He read the mastiff and reached for the inkpot and quill. He filled in the names of his entourage. Elina, Aaran, Enoch and Castiel. He then made a brief description of all, then blotted the ink dry. He rolled it up and flaked off the old wax, to seal it will his own. He looked back to Ender and frowned again. He stood up and walked over to him. "Ender, is something vexing you?" He asked as he reached out and rested his hand upon Ender's shoulder. Ender froze mid-step and looked down at Racine's hand. Yet he didn't try to remove it. They stood that way a time, before Ender stated, "I love queen Avalon. " He then looked Racine in the eyes. Racine nodded and guided Ender to the chair. "Sit, we need to talk. " He said with conviction.

"You are more of a loner than most of them. Lots of shifters like to make groups and fight everybody." Vorsicht said with a snicker and pawed the ground a little.
"Well, I'm a shifter as well. But I prefer my stronger form. My deadly form. My human form is weak, and simply beautiful, and worthless. Like all humans." She said, looking disgusted just thinking about it.

"It should be, in deed. Rest assured, I'll not hurt you mate. But I will put him through his paces. " He said truthfully. He looked over as a young Sylph came in with the two practice swords. Spyro stepped over to get them and handed them out. He then stood beside Star's chair.

Falkirk took his and was getting the feel of it. The weight and balance of it.

"If you'll excuse me, Princess Star. " Jackdaw replied calmly as he stood up with his own sword in hand. He fluttered the sword in a flurry of movement. Tossing it between hands, to find the best fit because he was dexterous. Falkirk and Jackdaw slowly circled eachother, before bowing and crossing their blade tips. After a count of six, they started sparing.

Cadeon laced their fingers together, as he walked with Ember. Once in the kitchen with the others, Cadeon watched Jackie work on her scurrying spell. It never ceased to amaze him.

Orson blinked out of his rage and looked to Kristen. He shook his head and sighed softly. "My heart, you are right, it does seem our duty calls. But don't think I forgot where we left off. " He replied mentally, as he wrapped his arms around her and kissed her gently, before shifting and waiting for her to either ride him or shift herself.

Aeval grinned coyly. She'd mastered that in the dark ages. He slowed her momentum to as slow as possible. She then shifted and did a series of somersaults and backflips until she landed on her feet. She looked over the ledge and whistled at the hight, before walking over to Aurora. "Easy!" She said happily.

Ericsson pursed his lips in thought, as he mulled it over. "You're sure that's not to much? He said with appreciation.

Markus nodded slowly, "Are we to meet your friends here or in the cavern? " He inquired curiously.

Xavier tugged on his collar as he walked back over to them. He looked to Don expectantly. Wondering what would happen once the others got here.

Zypher opened the door and walked inside. Saying that Taylor waited patiently until he cleared the door was an understatement. She just knocked him out of the way. Fortunately, Zypher was quick on his feet. "You my dear girl are a testament to my patience." He replied softly.

Taylor didn't care, her Nashton was back safe. "My can of stupid!" She yelled out to him as she tackled him aginst the wall. Nashton slightly got the wind knock out of him, but still managed to squeak out, "My vat of crazy!" Before Taylor peppered him with kisses. But despite his usual protests, he sighed contentedly and whispered to her, "I missed you too."

Ackley quickly went around the spectacle. Her eyes widened a little bit. Aurelius stepped up to the hyena and placed a key in her hand. "That's the key to your room. It's for your sister and yourself. I made it so you each have your own key. So don't lose it. "

Starr watched the two from where she sat. Even with the swords blunted for safety, she worried about them possibly getting hurt. It was a lot like watching Spyro and Ender showing her how to fight, just faster and without the commentary

Skylar came close to take his hand as they watched Jackie do her thing. She didn't want to get him nervous or anything, but she was already.

Kristen glanced to Bertram then back to Orson, choosing to stay with him as her human form, just to be able to touch him even as they headed back to the house again.

Aurora chuckled at that, glad to find some levity before turning to make their way down to the penthouse. "Very good Aelal. It takes a lot of time to perfect a move like that" She said before going in to see Anna and the rest of the pack.
