Carrow frowned at Caroline as she blocked her way. "Wh.." She started, but stopped when Ginger hugged her. She shook her head confused, "Wait, what has changed Ginger? You hated me a minute ago." She asked quietly.

Caroline looked at Maggie.

Carrow looked to Ginger and sighed with relief, "You were mad and thought I'd betrayed you as your confidant. I understand and forgive you." She said softly.

Carrow smiled and leaned over to kiss the top of Ginger's head. "Sometimes we hear what we want to hear. I'm glad you came back, out on the streets alone is not a safe place to be." She said as she started for the hotel again. "Now let's see if we can get some of that yummy salad. " She said happily, as she glanced to Caroline with a slight sadness behind her eyes still.

Luce was shocked by his words, and stuttered unable to inform him that he'd misunderstood about her being an alpha. She didn't want Jason mad at her for misrepresenting their relationship. They hadn't even been on a date, let alone advanced to that level of seriousness. How was she to correct this? She thought frantically as the introductions continued. She'd wait for a private moment to clear this up, yeah, that's what she'd do.

Vasper flushed slightly and bowed his head, " Aptly put your highness. So often one is blinked from one's personal perspective, that they fail to see the full picture. You are right, I was very fortunate to have Fey's assistance in reuniting my family." He said with respect.

Ember took his phone with a smile at him then dialed the number for Zypher to talk to him and have him ask the fae if this Pariah was fae and could be hurt by iron.

Skylar looked at him and frowned at how sad he looked. It wasn't physical because he was still smiling even as he looked down at Bob again. It was more a feeling. She glanced to Jaxon then back to Kash "Forgive me if it's rude to ask, but are you married or do you have a girlfriend?" If not she was going to set him up on a date, true it would be a wolf shifter, but as lonely as he seemed...or maybe they could go tot he pack and he could just meet the pups

Kellan chuckled softly and looked around again "That view is incredible" He said, smiling at them then headed over to look out the window and at the plants Anna had ordered in. He glanced to Zypher after a moment, his hand hovering close to one of the small trees "May I?" It would be impolite to take without asking

Cadeon set his choice of clothing in the basket and looked to Ember as she called Zypher.

Kash looked up a bit surprised by the question, but reminded himself she didn't know the difference in fey classes. "No, it's not rude to ask. Just not very common for Sylphs to have long term mates. We are mostly invisible in our home realm. Until we are required to breed, then a suitable mate is chosen. Our numbers have recovered from the war, so my legacy has not been requested as of yet. So the answer to both is no." He informed dutifully.

Jaxon was slightly surprised by the difference their cultures.

He looked to Kallen at his question, "Absolutely, by all means, help yourself. My mate has an eye for plants. They really have made a difference here. Both visually and fresh fruit on hand, is a bonus. " He said with appreciation. Zypher frowned as his phone rang. " Pardon me, I better answer this, it's Cadeon. " He said as he looked at the number. Carrow hugged Caroline back, grateful for the affection. " "Absence makes the heart grow fonder." Is one of my favorite human expressions. For it's true and you come to appreciate what you have all the more. " She said reflectively. Then laughed at Ginger's words, "We mustn't have that! Bread is only good when it warm." She called back to her and smiled genuinely at Caroline as they headed in to eat. It smelled wonderful and almost instantly, she realized how hungry she was.
