Lexi slowly walked up the stairs. She'd never seen those before either. Once upstairs, she let Shane led her by the hand to the guest room. She looked around timidly before following him into the smaller room. She was delighted by the large tub and learned how to work the water valves.

Falkirk quickly shifted to his pegasus. He looked to Star and nickered softly, before he started galloping to cover ground faster. He kept one eye on the sky and the other on his beloved mate.

Maxton stood and said reasonably, "Then we'll just have to exhume the body. That's the only way of being sure."

Jackdaw nodded, "Easy work for fey wolves." He looked to Maxton's look and added, "Don't you dare make a bone joke. Or I'll gnaw on your leg bone while it's still attached. " He said with humor.

Maxton chuckled softly at said, "You know me to well my friend. "

Bob was satisfied with her promise and came back to Angela. He nodded respectfully at her reassurance. "Thanks! " He said thankfully.

Cadeon looked lovingly to Ember. "This trip should be very educational. I've always wanted to see stuff forged. " He admitted simply.

Zypher chuckled deeply and smiled happily to his chosen mate. "Nothing like Anna kisses. But I'll behave now. I've had my fix." He spoke soothingly so only she could hear.

Navar stepped over to Rana and asked, "you have room for one more? " He asked curiously.

Shane showed her the towels and a robe she could use if she wanted to. "You are about the same size as Skylar, I can ask if she will let you borrow her clothes until you can get your own." (Knobs included doorknobs.)

Star nickered and started galloping beside him, looking around the area curiously as she did. This place was vast, but seemed to be a mix of Earth and the fae realm with a darker blue sky over them and only one sun and moon visible, though there was a second moon orbiting. Time would also be in between the other two realms, a full day being exactly 30 hours long. There were a lot of rivers and fields with some forests and rock piles around with mountains further away from them as they ran. There were other animals, normal ones that the Balor could catch and eat to live off of.

Bardou nodded then shrugged "That is one way to be sure" He agreed then stood and looked at the map "Well, we can head out there anyway.

Ember smiled and reached for his hand to go to the elevator with him.

Rana smiled softly "I do not know, they are not my vehicles but yours" She said teasingly then shrugged lightly "I don't see why not."

Anna flushed and turned to hide her face against his chest while the others left

"The majority of the paintings were made by Gaelin Illrune. He was a respected war leader when dragons were still a threat, but when he lost one of his legs he of course could no longer battle. So Gaelin took to painting, and quickly became very skilled and was then a famous artist." Islanzadi explained to him.
"I met him once, he was a rather strange man. But impressive, and I looked up to him. But he soon died as he returned to the kingdom after traveling for a few years. Somebody killed him on his way here, we never discovered who."

Cicero listened as they walked. "His work is very impressive. I'm saddened by his untimely demise. " He said with respect. He then looked around them snd marveled at the thick woods.

Anna flushed and turned to hide her face against his chest while the others left

Lexi was dumbfounded by all the new things. "Thank you, that would be nice. But I can wash these out, if need be." She said softly. She then looked to Shane with curiosity, "Why are you doing this for me. I willingly hurt your brother. "

Falkirk smelled water and headed towards it. They had ran a long way and he figured they could use a rest. He approached the river cautiously. Not sure if it was suitable to drink. He scented it and tasted it. Satisfied it was safe, the spoke mentally to Star. "It's safe to drink and it's good!"

Maxton and Jackdaw nodded and glanced to the others, "Portal or flying? " Maxton asked Sorcha.

"Not everyone had wings, blue." Jackdaw replied teasingly.

Cadeon chuckled lightly, "We should have just left the iron in the car. Did you see the fear in their faces? They are so strong, yet undone by something that is everywhere here." He observed.

Navar shrugged and offered to carry the iron bag. "I could take that from you if you wish."

Zypher laughed harder. "I hope you never grow out of that, sweet Anna. " He said as he hugged her and kissed the top of her head. The then looked to the ones leaving, praying nothing happened to them. But he then looked to Ravek as he stood at the window and stared out over the city unmoving like a statue.

They arrived at a boulder and Islanzadi led Cicero behind it. There was a circular clearing in the trees and a small, calm stream ran through it. Gold finches and cardinals were taking baths in small puddles here and there, and a few deer were sneakily stealing peaches from a small peach tree.

Islanzadi smiled broadly. "Still looks the same as it did years ago. I would usually come here to hide from my 'agitating' brother." She laughed. Her brother was no longer alive, but that didn't mean she could no longer think of the silly things they'd do as children.

Lexi was dumbfounded by all the new things. "Thank you, that would be nice. But I can wash these out, if need be." She said softly. She then looked to Shane with curiosity, "Why are you doing this for me. I willingly hurt your brother. "

Shane leaned against the wall and folded his arms as he looked over her "Knowing what you do now, would you go the same path?" He asked wanting an honest answer. "Would you put any of us in danger on purpose if given the chance?"

Star looked around them then came to take a drink herself. "There does not seem to be anyone around here." She said softly. She hoped they hadn't killed each other off but for the one they had seen earlier. She was surprised when the water itself grabbed for both of them, wrapping around her wings as a water dragon head came up out of the water to look at the pair of them. The one was soon followed by a pair of other heads as the balor rose up out of the river.

"Portal" Sorcha agreed and smiled at each of them as she stood up. "There's a mirror we can use in the librarian's office." She said, standing to lead the way for them all.

Ember glanced to the fae then nodded as they went to the elevator. "True, but if you pay attention, none of the wolves wanted to touch it either. There is a reason most stay in the forest even this day. Only the ones that do not have their fae blood can stand to stay in the city fr too long."

Rana looked to the bag then shrugged a little "It's light to me" She said then smiled softly "Unless you just want to be chivalrous."

Anna nodded then glanced up to him and followed his gaze, sitting up and biting her lip. She knew from the way he stood that it was hard for him to be here and probably harder for him to see them so close when he was separated from his love. Quietly she stood and went over to Ravek to touch his shoulder gently "We will get her back."

Cicero made a soft sound as he looked at the wondrous and brightly-colored birds ans the sun filled clearing. He slowly walked to the center to kneel down and watch them in awe. He whispered in fey about how magical and beautiful this place was.

Islanzadi watched Cicero's reaction to her childhood hideout, and smiled softly. She would think that given the fact he was from another, more magical realm, it would take a lot more to impress him, but this world was very new to him after all.

She kneeled beside him, "Do you like it?" She asked quietly.

Lexi looked to Shane with a strait forward expression. "I would never do anything again to harm either of you. That is why it was killing me to keep that spell a secret. The more I learned about him, the more....I felt for him made my deception agony." She said with utmost sincerity.

Falkirk tried to jump back, but found himself ensnared, as the water captured his wings as well. He looked up at the Balor in shock. "We mean you no harm! We are also trapped here!" He replied urgently.

Maxton and Jackdaw followed Sorcha as she lead them to the back room.

Cadeon thought about the correlation and nodded. "Now that you mention it, yeah. That makes complete sense now." He said quietly.

Navar grinned widely and shrugged. "It seems you have my number and you called me on it. I appreciate strong females. They remind me of my friend, Anna." He said pleasantly.

Ravek turned his head to look at Anna. He forced a smile. "I have to believe that. For the contrary, is not an option." He said with respect. He shook his head, "I should have went with her. I should have never let her out of my sight. But hindsight is 20/20." He said sadly.

The balor's water dragon head looked at him and Star then snorted and exited the water to hold them in his talons "The queen will decide" He said simply and took off to take them to the castle.

Sorcha nodded to the librarian then went to the mirror to open the portal for them to go to the hill. She waited for them to go through first then followed and looked around curiously.

Ember smiled then shrugged as they go on the elevator to go to the parking garage. "They will have to be careful about this attack"

Rana smiled at that as she got on the elevator then chuckled softly "There aren't many that can beat or even match the strength of a roc. We can even lift elephants when we want to."
