Sorcha would have blushed had she been in human form. She was glad that he was happy. "You make me want to be better too" She replied through their bond. "I am so glad we could have this time alone."

"We should take our places" Bardou said, moving to join the queen now that the Barlors were coming through the portal. There was nothing to say about Ender wanting to hurt him, that was natural

Nabal stepped through, looking around in wonder before shifting to her human form along with the guards and walking to Avalon to join her. 

Turoc was the last to step through and look around before shifting to his human form to follow the others. "That must be your queen" He said quietly as he looked to Avalon and leaned closer to Maxton

Jason bowed his head at those words, taking a moment or two to calm himself before following her out to the main room again. He looked for Luce, wanting to hug her again. 

Anna smiled to Garmr as she came back to the room "How did it go?"

Rana chuckled and looked to him again "When you practice enough, it becomes a muscle memory, something you can't fully forget despite the years inbetween."

Ember chuckled and shook her head before she would teach him the basics of these daggers.

Racine looked to Sorcha's pearlescent scales and rainbow plumage. She was a rare beauty. "I'm also glad for this time with you." He said through their bound. What he left unsaid was that he hoped it wouldn't be their undoing. He frowned thoughtfully before he asked mentally, "Have you ever herd of anyone using the Solemn Heartstone?" It was the spell he'd been willing to try to stop his twirl.

Ender nodded and followed Bardou over and moved to take his place behind his brother. Spyro turned to glance at him with sympathetic understanding in his eyes, before he turned back to the guests.

Avalon smiled to Bardou as he came to stand at her left. She then focused upon the female flanked by her guards. "Welcome to Anstopfia! I am Queen Avalon." She said formally, as she curtsied respectfully to their obvious queen.

Maxton smiled and whispered proudly, "Indeed she is."

"Yes, it went well, for I'm unmarked. Thank you for asking." Garmr replied pleasantly.

Sandor chuckled, "I know hand to hand combat, so I understand muscle memory." He said as the did a few moves. But straightened once he realized what a fool he looked like. He busied himself with looking over his borrowed bow.

"Is it rude to say she is beautiful too?" Turok asked quietly. He didn't want to get in trouble as he had with Racine and Sorcha. He had never seen a feathered or a one headed dragon before and now he was meeting another queen.

"Perhaps you can teach me there hand to hand moves?" Rana said as she watched him play almost. It was always entertaining to see what he would do next.

Ember watched him and corrected what he did wrong until he was holding the blade and moving correctly.

(since we aren't tied to other storylines with the black dragons, we get to skip a few months ahead. Yay! So now, we are skipped several months. Just Slygotha and Reaper and their brood. Plus, one more egg hatched, a male named Trogdor.)

Gugol poked her snout from the wyrmling dogpile, squealing as she shoved her way out. Once she extricated herself, the others grumbled and shifted around to make themselves comfortable again, while she snorted and made her way to the meat pile. The wyrmlings had grown quite a bit, and their wings had shown explosive growth, allowing the young dragons to fly. Being small, they were able to zoom about the cavernous expanse behind the nest proper, where the hoard lay sprawling in a slight upward slope from the mucky den to keep the treasures dry and rot free. Here the little ones could practice before going out into the big world, and Slygotha could be sure they had the aerial skills to evade capture in most cases. She was much too big to fly indoors herself, but she gruffly corrected them, patiently tutoring the wyrmlings as they practiced. Gugol tried to eat quietly so as not to wake anyone. She had grown a bit bigger than the others, due to her gluttony.

Maggie and her friends entered the store.maggie looked down a few isles,"Eric!"she snapped,"Eric!"she snapped again.a tall boy with brown hair like Maggie's stood up,"maggie!"he said."ER-IC"she snapped and walked away."little brothers"she sighed.eric followed her,"what can I get ya?"he asked.

Java started to bark and howl with Ella and the birds clawed and sang.

"I agree, it is an enduring quality that makes for better character in an individual. Self-importance is never pretty." Cicero said with conviction.

It gives the ones involved precious time. Time that they wouldn't normally have to sort things out. Assuming it works on both sides." He hoped for time, but he would not hurt her in the pursuit of it.

Maxton chuckled softly, "You are allowed to say that. Before, with princess Sorcha and king Racine, a believe his verbal reprimand was sparked more out of jealousy, then offense. Think nothing of it, it wasn't personal, I assure you." He whispered softly to Turac.

Sandor looked to Rana excitedly, "Really?! You mean I can actually teach you something? I would be honored to do so. Even if my sisters do best me every once in a while. " He said with humor.

Cadeon made the alterations and soon enough, he was able to pick up a bit of speed. But not becoming overconfident. "This is sooo cool! Thanks for teaching me this." He said with appreciation.

She said and shook her head "This was back when my mother was still the main teacher and advisor, but I was there when she found out that it was that spell.Why are you asking about that?"

Turoc frowned and thought about that for a while "Oh, so he is wanting to be her mate. Does she not want him or something?" He asked curiously "No, with the way she looked to him that isn't the problem. Is it not allowed for some reason?"

Racine quietly cursed and looked down upon the landscape before he dared to answer her evasively, "Oh, I found it in one of my spell books. With all this talk of inopportune twirls, I just thought it was worth looking into. How truly tragic for the pair. They must have been truly desperate." He brought his eyes to the back of Sorcha's graceful dragon neck. He fought the urge to brush his hand along the base of her neck and down spine. He instead fisted his hands on the meat of his thighs, using the pain as a distraction. To his amazement, it worked. The tickle in the back of his throat subsided. He opened his eyes and exhaled softly.

Avalon smiled warmly and said, "You are entirely welcome. I had the Balor's traditional tea made for you. Would you like to try some? " She asked as he picked up the crystal tea pot with the various flowers within it. She looked to the elders with invitation as well.

Maxton shrugged and stated, "I'm not quite sure which it is. Perhaps a mix of things. I believe he's interested in Princess Sorcha, but she's a well respected member of queen Avalon's court. Where he's just returned from exile. But I have been noticing his territorial proximity to Princess Sorcha. Nothing has been declared just yet. It's pure speculation at this point. But there is one thing that stands out, King Racine has never apologized to anyone, in all the time I've known him. Until now, that is, which is quite profound."

Garmr nodded as she thought about that. "He's new to the black arts. But I do fear for what he has done with my blood. I have been pitted against some of his creations. It was heartbreaking how to slaughter infants who only hate and cruelty." She said with a hollowness.

"That's only wise to be prepared for every eventuality. I respect your strategic mind. We can practice after my shift tonight, if you wish? We have converted a whole apartment into a training facility/ gym." Sandor glanced to the others as they tested the accuracy of the arrows, before he returned his gaze to Rana. He smiled softly with simple happiness. He looked forward to spending more time with her.

Cadeon grinned widely and handed back the knife to Ember. "Enough play, we better get back to work before the wolves box our ears for wasting their time. " He said with humor.
