Grumbling, Taylor looked at the bill and sighed. She signed the bottom fished out her wallet to pay. Passing the bill back to the lady along with the correct amount of money, she left a couple dollars on the table as a tip. "You're so mean.." She sighed dramatically. "Whoops there goes the money I was spending on your Christmas present."
~~~
"Do Oilins live longer than the average person? Can they expand their life span with magic?" She asked curiously, leaning back on the couch.
~~~
"Well then." Axel stood, brushing off his hands,"I'll tell you if I have any weird dreams. We leave in an hour with Team Beta. We need to move quickly and quietly, so I'm not bringing too many people. In the meantime, might I suggest you freshen up a bit?" He coughed slightly. He was definitely referring to Aesacus' long matted mane of hair. The other wasn't allowed near sharp objects. Aesacus gave him a grateful nod,"Thank would be wonderful, thank you. The sooner the better." Axel gave the guards a small nod and they escorted Aesacus away to do what Axel had requested. Axel stood up, rubbing the back of his head. He was destined to succeed. That was some pretty good stuff.
(Ugggghhh I realllllly want to tell someone my secret plan but then it wouldn't be a secret so I can't :/ )

"How soon you forget. You were bribing me so I'd cook tomorrow night. So that guilt trip won't work." Nashton said as he stood up and waited for Taylor to join him before heading for the door.
~~~
Orson nodded, "Yes, they must. Because I'm quite older then my appearance reveals. But as far as how this new bonded souls works, I'm uncertain. We're in new territory on that front. We'll have to try and do research to find if this has ever happened before. " He said thoughtfully.
~~~
(Lol! You can always tell me. I'll keep it a secret. *laughs evilly* JK! Don't tell! I like surprises. ;) )

"What if I was to ask you to marry me then?" Anna asked with a chuckle at his answer. "Seems the phones work, at least so long as the portal is open like this, I can be there in a minute or two."

Fay looked to her and chuckled softly "I do not mind and will not be offended, you have spent most of your life in your other form, it likely feels more natural than your human form, doesn't it?"

~~~
Foneth looked to the pool to see the fae working hard in there "She doesn't know we are watching her, does she?" She asked with a shiver and a frown after a minute or two. "that can be scary to think anyone could sit and watch you without your knowledge at any time."
~~~

Sorcha smiled and hugged her in return "I would like that, to have a chance to celebrate with you and my friends here." She said gently then looked to Racine with a big smile. She was glad Avalon was looking so much better and wanted to be a part of the celebration.
~~~
Starr looked to him and smiled cheerfully "This style looks good on you too." She said honestly
Zypher smiled widely at Anna's voice. "My thoughts exactly. See you when you get here. " He said happily.
~
Garmr gave that some thought and said, "Only bad things have happened to me in this form. I'm weakest in this form and I tend to resent it for that reason. That was why I was captured so easily. They somehow kept me in this form, until it was to late to fight them." She confided.
~~~
Ender frowned at that perspective. It did have an element of truth to it. "No, she has no knowledge of our scrutiny. But it's no worse then a bird in a tree or any other creature passively watching her from a distance. Our observations are not nefarious in nature. You asked to see a Fae, so its of a curious nature." He reasoned. He'd never saw it as an intrusion, for he'd only saw it used as a form of protection. Had he misused his new found powers? He struggled internally with his conscience.
~~~
Avalon smiled happily despite her underlying feelings of loss. She'd lost her confidant, her dear friend to another kingdom. Their loyalties were aligned differently now. She forced herself to view it as a an impartial queen would. Through their bonding, it had cemented the peace treaty more solidly then word or creed ever could. But how could she be so selfish, look at the unabashed happiness radiating from Sorcha being. Regardless of perceived loss she was happy for her friend. "It shall be a celebration like no other. I know you will make a fine queen, Queen Sorcha." Avalon said with respect.
~~~
"What do they call this style on earth?" Falkirk asked as he walked with Star out the door.
~~~
Markus was over seeing some important matters, before he'd try his shock tactic on Shaylee. He held the unicorn horn in his hand as he smiled at its similarities to the young unicorn's. He'd sent Pariah ahead to his office to check on Shaylee.
~~
Pariah opened the door and stepped inside Markus's office. "Oh, good! You're right where I left you. Just like a favorite toy. Incapable of movement without a controlling hand." She said with a gloating smile.
Anna chuckled and hung up before glancing around the apartment then going through the portal to join Zypher there. There didn't seem to be many that wanted to stay here when they had the choice to stay in nature safely at least for tonight.
~~~
Fay frowned a little at that but nodded in understanding. "They are playing with magic they do not fully understand. We will get them back for that injustice and the others soon." She said gently then looked to the forest again "This place needs some creatures, but otherwise seems to be like Moonhaven once was."
~~~
Foneth thought about that too then shrugged a little "I think it is just the part of her not knowing she is being watched that gives me pause. I do realize that we are not harming her." She said then looked back to the pool again "It may be different for you and her, since you grew up knowing this kind of spell is possible and we have spent our lives with hiding as a priority" She glanced up at the dome over them at that part then looked to him once more. "That is an ethics question to put in the book you eventually write about your spells."
~~~
Sorcha looked back to Avalon and smiled again. She couldn't stop smiling for long, she was just that happy to have found her soul's mate.

Bardou moved a little closer to the group and smiled at them "Sounds like it will be a wonderful party" He said gently
~~
Starr shrugged then chuckled "I do not know, it is just something that I have seen walkers wearing when they get lost in the woods. I was too scared to go and talk to them, though I helped get them turned back towards the city...without letting them see me."
~~~
Shaylee looked to Pariah then away, frowning. "What choice do I have?" She asked with a bit of anger in her tone.
Instinctively following Slygotha's voice, Nidhogg and Gugol chirruped back occasionally in response, letting Slygotha know they were following without her having to look for them in the muddy river. Her head broke the surface of the water as her horns and frill divided the lazy river. She flattened her crest against her skull to keep her profile lower, tucking her wings tightly against her body and using her powerful tail for propulsion and her legs to steer. Getting an idea of where she wanted to go, she kept steadily moving against the current, upstream for a while to the wildest parts of the swampy jungle. Her black scales shone darkly as the waning moon glinted off their wet sheen.
Reaper caught some fish along the way. Not passing up the opportunity of easy prey as the came within striking distance. He was enjoying this outdoor excursion with his family. It had been a long time since it had been Slygotha and himself out together, let alone with wyrmlings. Their togetherness warmed his reptilian heart beyond compare. He looked to Nidhogg and Gugol as they chirruped their replies to their mother's song. His world couldn't be happier. But just then, a spot light cut across the surface of the water. It blinded him temporarily. That's when he realized what it was. Poachers! He sounded a warning to his family and held back to cover their escape. Let them think he was a crocodile.
( Oh, I didn't take the hint. Lol! )
Several hyena looked to Anna as she left through the portal. They whined nervously and followed her through.
Cadeon picked up a sleeping Bob and followed the others. He knew Ember would know where they were when she got back from the Phoenix queen.
Zypher put his phone away and looked to Jackie. "This place is gaining in popularity it seems. I hope you don't mind." He said respectfully as he saw the number of shifters coming in behind Anna.
~~~
Garmr gave Fay a little smile. That thought comforted her more then she liked to think. Perhaps she'd venture to stay in this form a bit longer. She was safe with a goddess, surely. "Moonhaven was a remarkable place. Magical and eternal in so many aspects. At least until the humans systematically destroyed it." She said softly as they walked.
~~~
Ender nodded in agreement. "Yes, it is definitely an ethics question. I can see what you mean." He replied softly. He then changed the subject of the pool to the tree of life and subsequent portal to the Balors realm. "The Fae have found a way to open the portal for the banished Balors. They are also a dragon clan." He explained simply.
~~~
Avalon smiled and nodded at Bardou's statement. "We can only hope that it will. I'll extend invitations to all who wish to attend. " She said decidedly.

The royals that had gathered there for Avalon's private meeting clapped merrily at the levity of the moment.
~~~
"Well, whatever it's called, it's very practical and comfortable to wear." Falkirk said with enthusiasm.
~~~
"None whatsoever that's the point! Finally, the mighty Shaylee has been put in her place and there's not a thing you can do about it." Pariah said. She slowly came to stand in front of the cage. Obviously enjoying Shaylee's impotent anger. Then to add salt to the verbal wound, she lied efficiently, "Danika didn't put up much of a fight. Shall I show you how easily she lost her horn? " She taunted further.

Instinctively Slygotha slipped under the water, her underwater vocalizations taking on an urgent tone as she heeded Reaper's alert call. She gathered her wyrmlings, having them cling to her sides so she knew exactly where they were. She swam forward a little ways, then burrowed into the soft mud at the bottom, hugging her young under the shelter of her huge body. They all flattened down in the muck as the slow silty river lazily flowed over them. Once she burrowed into the bottom, the only thing left moving were her poison green eyes, with the thin film of her third eyelid. She stopped vocalizing at this point until either Reaper called her, or she felt the danger had passed. If she had to flee without Reaper further, she would.

Reaper allowed the bright light to reflect in his eyes too keep their attention upon him. He slowly inched closer to their boat, before hearing the silence of his mate. Knowing his family was safe, he slipped under the water in a flash of movement. At their cursing and anger at loosing the mother load, Reaper moved under the boat to capsize it. He couldn't have poachers in his families hunting ground. As the humans struggled to get to the surface of the water, he spit acid into their eyes to blind them one by one. He'd use these humans as a training session for their wyrmlings. He called out to Slygotha triumphantly. He watched as the blinded humans clung to the capsized boat, like rats to a log in a river.

Hearing his triumphant roar, Slygotha arose from the river bottom like a long forgotten Leviathan, her head bursting to the surface with little rivulets pouring from her thick black hide. Seeing the humans and their tools, she emitted an angry growl that echoed deep in her chest, her thin lips pulled back as the acid leaked in steaming drops from her toothy maw. Her colorful crest flared tall, her eyes flashed and narrowed dangerously. She didn't like to feel threatened. The wyrmlings were a little startled by the whole thing, and Gugol and Nidhogg swam warily towards their father, chirruping questions cautiously.

( :lol: )
Kyth felt bad for making the joke and apologized, "I'm sorry. That wasn't very nice of me." He then watched the numbers count as they went up. He then explained, "When we get to my floor, we'll be meeting a friend of mine. Umm, he'll have to scan you. I hope you don't mind. "

Aurienne looked to Kyth questioningly, but said nothing. She didn't want to freak out before judging how odd of an action that was. Instead she waited in the hope that it wouldn't be as scary as it sounded.

Obviously enjoying Shaylee's impotent anger. Then to add salt to the verbal wound, she lied efficiently, "Danika didn't put up much of a fight. Shall I show you how easily she lost her horn? " She taunted further.
Anna smiled at the hyenas that came through behind her "It's alright, explore a little if you want. This is probably the safest place in the universe right now and all it would take is a phone call to bring us back to Earth...literally." She said with a chuckle at the inadvertent joke once she heard herself say it.

"That is why I made this place...though they did give me an idea for the next building. I wonder if one of them would like to plan that out with me. Some kind of command center near the portal, or even over it to have a pause before you see this world, hm" Jackie said, gazing over at the portal in thought now.
~~~
Fay nodded as she looked around "Yes, though a human is the one that made it magical in the literal sense, before her. it was just another forest. Magic calls to magic though, that is one reason so many mythicals found their way to it, even when they didn't think there was a reason."
~~~
"Oh?" Foneth looked at the tree then at the portal before smiling happily "Good, I hoped they hadn't been lost for good. Do they like their realm? Are they staying there or will they return to Anstrophia? Can we see their realm?" As much as he had been curious about this place, she was curious about the outside and Ettance.
~~~
Sorcha blushed a little at all the attention on her and move closer to Racine, taking his arm in her hands for assurance, though she kept her outward posture showing happiness and calm for the most part. She had not expected to tell Avalon in front of a crowd.
~~~
Starr chuckled and nodded then looked ahead as they came to the throne room, where Nabal was sitting and reading over some paperwork.

The queen raised her head as the two were announced and smiled gently at them "Good morning"
~~~
Shaylee was about to make another angry retort when Pariah said that about Danika. She paled and her jaw dropped open in shock. No, they couldn't have harmed the child like that. "Lies" The one weak word was all she could get out before shaking her head and looking away as much as she could. She couldn't believe anything like that
