Gugol liked these squishy humans. She may be the size of a medium dog, but these people were so fragile and sensitive. After carefully watching Slygotha poke and prod the example human, Gugol decided to try taking one herself. She circled around it in the water, observing its reactions carefully. It was trying to slap the water and wave her off, but after the previous demonstration by Slygotha, Gugol realized that it couldn't hurt her in its current state unless it got ahold of her, so she kept circling until she managed to get behind the human, reaching her jaws around the backside if its neck and biting down for all she was worth. The warm blood filled her mouth as a tooth nicked the carotid artery on one side and a sickening crunch was heard. Nidhogg preferred to circle in the air above the chaos, observing. She decided she wasn't ready for such prey yet.

Valstrath hesitated, reluctant to venture too close to the strange sounding creatures, no the humans. He reminded himself. Reflecting upon his lessons of the night. Firth of the almost scare of the human boy and now putting a face to the previously invisible threat, emboldened him further to choose a target to practice upon. He climbed up on the overturned boat and let his claws screech as he crawled acrossed it. As his chosen target frantically flailed it's arms around in defense, the human sacrifice buoyancy, and Valstrath lunged, using his higher position and weight to propel them both under the water. The only thing seen in the water was bubbles and crimson colored water. Reaper growled his approval of the efficiency of Gugol and Valstrath.

"Thank you, Alpha Anna." The hyenas said before they shifted. They then hyena laughed at her joke, before slowly moving to the treeline. Already playing like carefree pups.

Zypher looked back at the portal in thought of the last option. He nodded thoughtfully and stated, "It would make it easier to defend, should something or someone tried to force their way in. Very good thinking." His eye drifted over to Anna as she spoke with the hyenas. Then caught sight of Cadeon and Bob. He smiled in greeting to them.

Gammr understood the logic of that. She'd see it time and time again. It was almost a drawing force. "Yes, and once that secret was learned, it was to their detriment. Man is an opportunist and exploits are nature's against us." She said almost bitterly.
~~~
Ender chuckled at Foneth's eagerness. "Now, now. The answers to those questions are still mostly unknown. I was called away to come here soon after queen Nabal came to Anstrophia to visit. There was a small Fae entourage that went to visit Ettence, I believe they called it." He explained. He then added, "The Balors queen did offer to assist me with figuring out what had happened to me. She is very kind and understanding. "
~~~
Racine instinctually offered comfort to his new wife. Covering her hand with one of his own upon his arm. He leaned in and kissed her cheeks softly and whispered, "I love you, my beloved queen."

Avalon saw Sorcha drawing closer to Racine and his reaction to it. She guessed as to why, as she looked out to the gathered royals and said pleasantly, " I shall let you all go to make the necessary preparations, as well as soread the word if the festivities tonight. For Tonight's feast will not be soon forgotten! In our histories or the next! "

There were riotous cheers and applause as they started filing out the doors.

Avalon turned back to her brother and Sorcha and smiled softly.
~~~
Falkirk bowed with a flourish. "Good morning to you, your grace. It is a beautiful day in your kingdom." He said politely.
~~~
Pariah smiled happily and shrugged, "You'll see soon enough. " She said smartly. She then turned to the door as Markus walked in. "Oh! But he has the proof in his hand! How convenient." She said then looked to Shaylee again.
Anna smiled at them then glanced to Cadeon and Bob before going over to Zypher to give him a hug. She then looked to Jackie and gave teh witch a hug.

Jackie smiled and hugged Anna back then looked back to Zypher "I am not certain of the logistics of it, but it goes by the old standby of a locked door being safer than an open one."
~~~
Fay nodded and sighed softly "Yes, some humans can be cruel and heartless, though not all are. We would not have this safe place if not for the human witch Jackie. Kristine was a human and gave that up to become an oilin and that is just two of them that we know here."
~~~
Foneth dipped her head at that, falling silent at the admonishment and thinking about what he had said. "She does sound like a good queen. I am glad you had the chance to meet her."
~~~
Sorcha looked to Racine and smiled happily at him before returning the kiss on his cheek "And I love you, my king." She said softly before returning her attention to Avalon "Thank you. I know I will need to get used to being the center of attention, but it is not easy for me yet." She said then smiled at Avalon again.
Bardou stayed close by, watching and listening to them and the other royals as the second group left.
~~~
Nabal smiled and glanced to the windows "Yes, it is a beautiful day today" She agreed then looked back to the pair again "Are you enjoying your stay?"
~~~
Shaylee looked to the door and Marcus then shut her eyes. No. They couldn't have done that, unicorns were innocent beings, and a child unicorn was more innocent than that. She felt like she couldn't breath then used that and every bit of energy she could to try to throw off the shackles Pariah had over her. "NO"
Watching the other black dragons, Trogdor reflected from his perch on Slygotha's back, moving to her shoulder when she had reared up for the demonstration. Once his siblings had settled in, he decided that he might give it a go too, so he launched himself clumsily from Slygotha's shoulder, circling around to the capsized boat. By now there was very slim pickings, but he found what he was looking for, and he landed nearby on the top of the boat, causing it to bounce around in the water a bit. His skittering claws added to the fear experienced by the helpless human as he got just a few feet away, then unloaded his acid completely on the poor creature, practically melting the softer parts away as they sizzled and bubbled into a sticky goo. This didn't leave a lot of meat for Trogdor, but he was still very proud of himself, even though he had used all his acid breath up until he could make more.
Kyth and Maxwell shared a look, before looking to Aurienne as the scanner beeper at the detection of a tracking chip. The next thing Maxwell asked Aurienne was, "Are you a friend to Moonhaven or Menagerie? "
Kyth tensed slightly, in preparation of her answer.  Did he bring a spy to their home? He didn't even know if she was a shifter.  He'd suspected as much, when he'd found out that she was living in the alleyway. That and her eyes hid something pretty profound behind them. Or was it just his wishful thinking?"
Aurienne glanced towards Kyth nervously. "Yes." She admitted quietly. "I am not a friend of Menagerie, but I was kept their for quite a long time. I don't understand though, how do you know about Menagerie? There's only two types of people who know about Menagerie; those who work there, and those who are kept there." Aurienne's eyes softened in a sad manner at the realization of her words. She directed her attention from the stranger, to Kyth; the man she begun to trust. "Kyth, did Marcus send you to find me?" Aurienne moved out of Kyth's reach in sudden fright of his presence as she waited eagerly for his reply.
Zypher smiled as Anna hugged him and then Jackie. He nodded agreement to her stated and looked back at the portal. " I imagine it will depend greatly on whether or not we can actually build onto the inner realm wall. Or if well have to have a small gap as a buffer. " He thought aloud.
~~~
Garmr listened to the Goddess's wisdom, even though her perception of humans was tainted by her misuse. She held her tounge out of respect for Fey. She instead looked around the quiet Moonhaven forest. She scooped up a handful of leaves and smelled them. The rich earthly scent was pleasant to her.
~~~
Ender grew embarrassed as he remembered how selfish he'd been about things and had ruined that first meeting. He was terrible for doing that. He'd acted as a petulant child would have, when denied what he wanted. That Revelation didn't sit well with him. He allowed the pool to return to normal and stared at the normal reflections upon its surface. "As am I. I only wish I'd made a better impression at that meeting. I broke decorum with my anger. He stated.
~~~
Avalon smiled at Sorcha's explanation. She then assured her, "As the humans are so fond of saying, 'Rome wasn't built in a day.' Certain things take time. I've be taught all my life and I still struggle from time to time."

Racine was touched by Avalon's gentle nature. It was a side of her he'd rarely seen. Their resentments of the other, had driven them apart long ago. He smiled proudly to his wife.

Avalon noticed Bardou nearby and called him over to show them the new changes to the old mandates and decrees.
~~~
"Exponentially, your grace. For every moment we are here, it gets better and better." Falkirk said with enthusiasm.
~~~
Pariah winced at the sharp pain in her own mind as the tether between them was snapped. She stumbled slightly as she reached up to hold her temple. She blinked rapidly for a moment to assess what had happen and the damage done to her.

Markus was also mildly affected. Since their link had been wide opened at the time. His nose bleed was evidence of that fact. He wiped the blood away with his handkerchief and looked to Shaylee in question. Not yet putting it all together. "What did you do?!" He demanded fiercely.

Reaper watched the wyrmlings doing their various types of hunting techniques and sampling of the human flesh. He glanced to the shore cautiously, before resuming his vigilant watch.

" I was a long time captive. At least until this group rescued me from the living nightmare. We are actively engaged in a struggle with Markus to free others. We will not stop until ever single Moonhaven inhabitant is free. You have been on the run constantly, because of that tracking chip in your shoulder. That is how they've always been one step behind you. Let us remove it, please. You don't have to stay here if you don't want too. But I hope that you do choose to stay." Kyth explained carefully. Somehow knowing that his words would carry a great weight upon Aurienne's judgment of him.

Maxwell stood silently and waited patiently for her choice. Then he'd call in the wolf doctor.

Anna returned to Zypher's side, looking to him then Jackie in confusion at his statement.

Jackie shook her head and giggled softly "There is no wall, this is basically it's own world. Smaller than Earth for certain, but there are no walls here but the ones we build for our houses. Moonhaven used to be a very large forest, on Earth they have reached what once was the heart of the forest, which is why that destruction has destroyed the magic there."
~~~
Fay looked to her then smiled again before looking around once more. "This reminds me of what once was in most of the Earth. Pure, untouched forest..." She paused a moment then called for Artemis, seeing if the goddess of animals would come to this realm
~~~
"Yet she still wanted to help you, so she must not have counted that against you." Foneth pointed out gently, moving to his side to drape a wing over his back, the closest they could get to a friendly hug.
~~~
Sorcha dipped her head, happy that her friend wasn't too changed by what had happened to her. "That is one reason my classes have always been small." She said then looked to Bardou as he brought over the papers to let them see the changes
"We have been quite busy this morning." Bardou said cheerfully.
~~~
Nabal smiled at that then chuckled softly before asking another question "What brings you to see me this morning?"
~~~
Shaylee blinked then stood and came to the cell door "I am free" She whispered then narrowed her eyes at the pair "You have harmed an innocent. You will pay" She stated then looked to the cell to try to get it open, despite how tired she was from getting free once more.
Aurienne listened to Kyth, eyes wide with intrigue. As he finished speaking, she looked back to the stranger, silently making her choice. "I'll stay." She smiled, her voice soft as her understanding continued to increase while thinking over Kyth's words.
Maxwell nodded and pulled out his cell phone to call the doctor to remove the chip from her.
Kyth smiled gently to Aurienne. "You made the right decision. You'll finally be completely free of that place." He said with quiet conviction.
