Anna reached the ground floor and paused by the door, listening for any activity before she opened it to leave this place

Angela hit her wing against the wall of her room and fluttered to the floor, hurting and panting. Her heart was beating too fast for her little bird form

Markus saw Ericsson on his was back to the infirmary. Ericsson had filled him in on what had happened and he was on his way to check on Star. That's when he heard the struggle. He quickly ran to the holding cell. When he got there, he noticed the door. He froze in shock as he looked at the damage.

Zypher quietly came up behind Anna. He waited to see if she heard anything. He was ready for anything. But hopped they would get out without a gun fight.

Angela's handler came to her aid as she saw on the surveillance camera, what had happened. She walked into her cell and picked the small bird up. She cooed to her to try to cocomfort and calm her.

Dawn let out savage barks when she say him. She jumped up on the cage wall and countinued her barks.

Vorsicht smelt blood in the air, which triggered her hunger. She walked out of the woods, to the hotel to see if she could get a meal.

Anna hadn't heard anything and opened the door a little at a time. You might see the good guys just throw open a door and run out, as if being good protected them, but this was real life, and doing that was a quick way to find death. Once she had scanned what she could of the parking area, she stepped out, flattening the door to the wall to let the men come out so they could head for the vehicle.

Angela panted and tried to get away, but was unable to in this form. Eventually she stopped struggling, not because she was calming, but because she just couldn't struggle anymore without hurting herself more. Too much stress could kill a bird like her and being held captive was stressful, especially when she didn't know what to expect next.

Star snorted and shook her head then hit the bars again, turning away only to circle the cage she was in then attack the door again. She was more than a horse, but even a horse wouldn't stand for this kind of cell, especially if it had been wild before. One final hit was all it took to throw the door open and let her get out of the cell. She reared, spreading her wings into the room before settling to her feet again and looking at the man and the dog.

Dawn jumped up on the door and barked, her urge to herd almost driving her instead. She began pacing the side
Closest to Star.
