Zypher followed her glance. He then brought her hand up and kissed it gently. "I never thought I'd see you again. I was haunted by all the things I should have done and didn't. When we get out of this, I'll never take you for granted again, Anna." He said with conviction.

Bertram smiled sadly at the couple. It hurt his heart to not have that connection to another.

Anna smiled and turned to him to kiss him "No, we cannot take eachother or the time we have together for granted. I pray we have a full lifetime together" She said softly.

Ember chuckled lightly "No, you are not evil, I met an evil chimera before. They didn't bother trying to talk before attacking me. He will never make that kind of mistake again." She didn't add that she had not been alone, or that she had not been the one to kill the creature or that they had been working together to hunt it since he was going to expose them if he continued.

Aaran dropped his gaze. He had messed up,"I'm sorry you have to go, Princess. What are my orders?" He asked obediently.

Kristen twirled back blushing,"Mates?" She whispered and blushed again and looked away for a moment. When she looked back she was smiling slightly, but she was still embarrassed.

Elina looked back at Aaran and shrugged. "I am not in need of your assistance. Check with one of the generals." She then left the room.

Tyr came over and looked at Elina retreating form. "Foot in mouth much?" He asked quietly.

Enoch came over and glared at them. "You'd best stop this. Do you want Racine's wrath or Elina for that matter?" He stated plainly. At the others silence, he motioned for Aaran to follow him. "Very wise of both of you. You may live to see another century." He said dryly, as he walked away.

See, Arran was mute, so Angela acted as her translator. But now she has a voice, which they are hiding from Markus." He explained to Ember.
