Jackdaw smiled and looked at Dawn curiously. "Wonderous little creatures. So small and fragile." He said.

Degan gently brushed Aurelius's hair away from her face, as beads of sweat started surfacing. "It's alright, Aurelius. We're here for you." He soothed. She slowly started to settle down. She only twitched here and there. But slipped into a light sleep.

"But the only other option is the blue dragon then. Do you think she'll help then?" Ena asked him.

Zia stayed where she was, perched on his shoulder. She was still unsure what was going on, but she felt safe with a winged lion around.

"She seemed to like you very much." Jackdaw said with a smile. He started walking again, as he glanced up at the moons. "It was always a mystery why the trees never filled in this cleaning. Until one night we happen to be passing by here. That's when we found them. So it became a ritual with my pack to witness their birth and rejoice in their beauty. Old habits die hard. For that time has long since past. Yet here I am, with a member of a new pack, rediscovering the magic." He finally turned to look at Dawn with a grin. "Does that make me a sentimental fool? No, wait! Don't tell me. I rather live in denial. That way I retain plausible deniability." He finished with a deep chuckle.

Degan was comforted by Zia so close. He sat and watched over Aurelius's sleeping form. He said absently, "Whenever she changes the future, she suffers seizures, while everything she have changed, is altered throughout the timeline. That is what has happened just now. But I've never seen her break her rules of intervening. She would only come to me when she had a crisis of conscience. Like you saw, when you first came to share my cell."

Calystia looked away, not wanting to see the pain of her loss reflected on his eyes.

Raine was looking out at the city form the balcony. The delivery of the plants was taking place. So he had moved out here to get out of the way. That way they could place them due to their light requirements. Zypher had been sure to mention it to him before they all left to go to Jackie's. Anna had chosen some very beautiful specimens. He loved the smell of the citrus trees.

She said, thinking back. "I was even tazered once." She said wincing at the memory, not the memory of being tazered, but what had happened to her before the police had found her.

"I'm sorry, Aaran. I'm no acquainted with the Oilin for a reason. I'm sure he is a good friend to you." Enoch looked down at the table, with sadness in his heart. "Perhaps we shouldn't be friends, Aaran. I forgot who i was for a moment. I would seem our loyalties are set in opposition. I must be true to my king and you, not so much. Racine is trying to make a better life for us. One were we aren't living and hiding in a cave. I assure you, once he makes a new realm, we'll happily leave this one." Enoch stated quietly, not looking up at Aaran.

"My heart and my mind may not agree with the king's decisions but my loyalty lies with him. When the time comes I will do what I believe to be right, if I am ever put in that situation, but I want to serve him. Sometimes doing what is right is more important than loyalty. It's not right for the humans to kick you out but should you repay evil with evil? I want to be your friend Enoch. I really do. Having different opinions and still being friends is okay! Fire tests and purifies gold, maybe I'll be like that for you." He begged then added quietly,"But I won't change. I'm sorry."
