Sonya looked to Avelon and walked over tot he pool "When you can't see someone who has been taken, you stop looking for them and look for 'blank' areas" She said then chanted a spell to search for an area that looked devoid of magic, a spell that would only work for this realm that was made of and for magic.

Don sighed and shook his head "That is flawed as well. Life is a balance, everything in life must have a balance or it will fall" He stated then shook his head "To make a monster from the blood of other creatures, trying for one that is without flaws is to set up your own downfall, likely at the hand of such a creature. You are not a god, Marcus. Only the gods can create life like you want, even then, something to defeat that one must be made as well. That is the natural balance of life" He lectured then looked at Marcus again "There is a reason there is no natural creature like what you are describing"

Almost on cue, prince Vatgkan walked over. "Get up, let's go. Time is of the essence. King Racine is most interested in meeting both of you." He looked to Maydaw and ordered, "Come and help with Lucille" the creature did as ordered. He came over and grabbed ahold of her. Vatgkan then rested his hand at her temple and whispered a spell softly. After a moment she stopped struggling and stood quietly. He closed his eyes to as he searched for the information. He then smiled and withdrew from her mind. "That was easier then I thought. " He said with appreciation. When his hand left her, she came back to herself.

Graydon shifted to his Manticore form and laid down in the water. He wings bobbed up to the top of the water. As he watched Kyra swam.

Sergio gasped as Jackie passed out. She quickly caught her and eased her to the ground gently. She then check her vitals to make sure she was alright. She seemed fine, so she figured the rest will do her good. She then turned her attention to Bertram. She reached out to him to figure out what was wrong with him. She knelt by him as she realized the size of the damage. A ruptured lung, the broken ribs and multiple compound fractures in his legs. But the worst damage was his broken neck. "Bertram, I....don't know if I can heal all this. I'll start with the wounds that are slowly killing you." She explained as a teardrop hit his ebony fur. She wiped her eyes before she laid both hands upon his large chest. She concentrated and sent her life force deep into his chest cavity. She saw in her mind, as his ribs came back together, the removal of the blood filling his lungs, that he was close to drowning in. She pulled back significantly weaker. But she had one more major wound to go. She moved up to his muscular neck. She once again concentrated. She then directed the last of her reserved life energy into his crushed vertebrae. It reknitted together. She fell back and looked up at him weakly. "Can you shift to heal the rest?"
Bertram gritted his teeth at the pain in his legs and looked to her. " I don't know, but I'll try." He said.
Bertram gritted his teeth at the pain in his legs. He was relieved that he hadn't felt the full pain of his injuries. He sent a silent prayer to the broken neck. He then answered Sergio. "Yes, I believe I have it from here. You just rest, Sergio. You have done enough. Thank you for everything. " He said with gratitude. He focused through his remaining pain. It came in throbs from his broken legs. Which made this shift excruciating as his limbs fixed themselves through the magic of the shift. Then all at once, It was all gone. He was in his human form strong again. He stood and went to Jackie. Carefully scooped her up into his arms. He looked down at her sleeping face and smiled softly.
Sergio had to return to Jackie's body to recover, she was almost completely depleted. In a flash, she was safe on Jackie's skin.
Confused as to where she'd gone, Bertram started walking to the closest cave.
