Starr nodded and touched her throat. She needed to get some new pendants herself. She sighed softly and stepped back "I will let you two be, I need to find my pendants or replacements for them."

"Yes, of course. Thank you again Princess Star. I'll find a way to repay you for your kindness. Dawn is lucky to have such good friends. Just as I appreciate your discretion on this matter." Jackdaw did a formal bow as he spoke to her.

Falkirk was walking down the hallway on his way to Star's room, when he heard Star's voice. He followed it to the adjoining hallway close to the entrance.

Aeval slept for a short time and quietly got up. She walked over to the cave opening and looked out at the forest. She saw an elk down below. She smiled as she thought about swooping down like a hawk and snatching it up for their breakfast. But she sat on the ledge instead. She didn't want to wake him, he needed his rest.

Jackdaw nodded in thought. He did know the self-centered fey. He never liked him much before his fall for favor after the murder of the king.but he pushed that aside for now and focused on a more pressing matter. "I must get another protection pendant." He said, before he remembered Kash had the one that was to be Dawns. But where was the Sylph now? "Dawn, where is your guardian Sylph? Kash has one that I could use." He asked her curiously, then frowned at her look. "You okay Dawn?

Zia woke before the rest. She went over and kicked Degan lightly. "Yo, wake up."

Pariah found Markus in his private quarters. Markus looked up as she walked in. "Well?"

Pariah shrugged as she said, "He doesn't know where they are. But I think his daughter may know, for it make the most sense. My scan was inconclusive, due to his dislike of my true form."

"The Medusa look, most likely." Markus stated simply. "But if I recall, her whole bottom half was a snake as well. Not just her hair." Markus added absently.

Graydon grinned happily and said, "Well, then we will find a way to get some, then. But we have hickory for now."

Cadeon returned her smile and watched her leave. Something had happened, but he wasn't going to pry. He turn hid attention to Ember.

Jaxon accepted her explanations and thought about them in new light. He like how her house look, it did feel welcoming and not at all, like the labs he knew.

Aurelius couldn't stop the tear that escaped the corner of her eye. She'd never felt more lived in her whole life, then she did at Anna's words. She looked to Anna with glossy eyes and whispered, "Thank you."

"Do you want me to fix you something to eat?" Luce asked Jason. Hoping it would delay his departure. She admitted to herself, 'yes, she was that selfish.' She waited with baited breath for his reply.

Elina withdrew her hand and wiped it dry on her clothing. "That's not at all what I thought it would feel like. " She said softly.

Omen thought carefully and recalled his orders, "We were to neutralize hostels. The spiders were an added agenda, due to their propensity to attack humans and the city. As for lies, they were everything we expected them to be. They call me Omen. What are you called, Blue? No, I'm kidding, it's... ah, there it is! Aurora the blue?" He asked with soft humor.

Don studied the lock on the cell, trying to see if he would be able to get it open when he would need to. He would wait for a better chance of full escape though, so for now, he went to sit and rest again, thinking.

Kyra nodded and looked at the frames sitting in the sunlight with the meat hanging over the crossbars. "Yes, we do, and once it's dry, it will be able to last us a good part of the winter."

Ember was watching Jackie, with similar thoughts to Cadeon, though she didn't know it at that moment. She turned back to him then smiled a little "I wonder if it's the fighting, but she seems a little different somehow"

Skylar watched him and smiled a little then looked to her father and uncle as they brought the food in to the table. "Are you ready for a real meal?" She asked and smiled at Jaxon

Anna smiled softly and hugged her. "You are welcome, though it is only the truth"

Jason smiled and looked down at her "I would like that" He said gently. He didn't want to leave her just yet either

"What did it feel like?" Aaron asked curiously, looking from her to the water then back again.

"I am Aurora" She said with a soft chuckle then shook her head and sighed "Hostile when they are protecting their land and families? He does have nerve, I must give him that" She sighed and looked to Omen "You saw the warriors, the protectors of the forest. You did not see the weak and the children that they fight to keep safe."

Degan came awake with a start. He looked up at Zia confused by the suddenness of the wake up, " Let me get this right, you just startled awake a sleeping winged lion. How did you think that was a good idea? I could had bit your leg off. Roar!" He teased her affectionately, as he rubbed the sleep from his eyes.

Aeval loved the wind in her face as she sat on the ledge. She heard an eagle call and looked out over the expanse to see it gliding on the up drafts. She admired it's gold beauty.

Jackdaw smiled at her and rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly, " Apparently now I am. Thanks for being a true friend and doing what needed to be done. I know it wasn't easy for you. Know that I appreciate all you did to save me from that mad fey. I also owe you a blood debt. I keep this up, I'll be completely dry." He said with happiness.

Starr shook her head and smiled "You do not have to repay me for this, Helping a friend is simply that." She said then looked around, grinning brightly when she saw Falkirk. She headed over to him happy to see him again

Falkirk smiled as Star approached. "Princess Star, I was just on my way to see you. Spyro filled me in on everything. Oh, and gave me these to give back to you. I took the library of replacing the chains for you. They where a bit destroyed." He explained as he held her pendants out to her. He then continued, "If I had known, I too would have help fight against prince Vatgkan. I know I'm not much of a warrior, but I'm motivated to violence, where you are concerned. Can you forgive me for not being there when you needed me most?" He inquired miserably.

Anders knocked on Markus's office door. Upon not receiving invitation, he came into the office to drop off the final report on expenditures and casualties of their latest raids. As he turned to leave, the new addition to the office made him stop in his tracks. "Oh, hello?!" He said pleasantly.

"All I can say to that, is let it snow. I've never been out in it. It looks like fun. With our pantry stocked, we could actually enjoy it." Graydon said enthusiastically.

Cadeon expressed his concerns as well, "I don't know. She seems like she is overwhelmed and battling something internally. It could just be adjusting to the whole Sergio situation. It's not everyday you get a personal demon. She probably just needs rest." He tried to convince himself as well. But he was very worried about Jackie. She'd been through so much lately.

Jaxon looked to the rabbit jerky he was saving for later, because it was to good to eat at once. He was savoring it. "But you already gave me a real meal. You really mean, I can eat more?" He asked in disbelief.

Aurelius hugged Anna with a death grip. "You'll have to forgive my surprise. My whole experience with the truth has been tainted by Markus's lies. But I'm slowly learning what it really means though you and your pack. Thank you for showing me there is true goodness in this world that is not motivated by ulterior motives." She said softly.

Luce grinned widely at him. She took his hand gently and led him to the kitchen. "Good, because I want you leaving her well fed. " She explained simply.

"Yes, he has nerve. But he did have me created, so I'm like Adam to Frankenstein. We are locked into a tragic love hate relationship. But my griffin side sees short distances into the future, but when I reveal those effects, I don't suffer from the debilitating seizures of my fellowship. I believe the Phoenix cancels them out. Anyway, I digress. I knew we'd become a form of friends. But I couldn't reveal it to you just yet, Aurora. I wasn't at my best then. I was dieing and you had urgent matters that needed your attention, anyway. So you see, well I guess you did see. With your whole reversed water globe thing." Omen said good-naturedly.

Jackdaw raised a brow at her nonverbal gesture. He then followed her back to her room. He watched her curiously as she played with the pendant. He wondered where Kash was but noticed the pendant on her vanity. "Hey there it is, he must have set it here when he saw you had one. May I have it, Dawn?" He asked quietly.

Skylar looked back to him again then nodded "Yeah, we try for the three meals a day thing, snacks like the jerky are only really for well, snacks" She said then smiled and shrugged

Anna smiled at that "That is one of the things it means to be pack, and one reason we take it so hard if we are betrayed by members. We value truth and honesty at least with eachother" She explained gently

Jason smiled and followed her to the kitchen so they could have a meal together before he would need to leave

Aaron smiled and looked to the water though he didn't reach for it. He was curious but he didn't want to accidentally freeze the whole thing.

Aurora chuckled softly at all of that and stepped out to the beach that they had floated to as they talked. "I guess so, I just didn't want you to die if you had a chance of living" She said then set him on the sand.
