Falkirk gently rubbed her back and said, "We should have foresaw this. The fault is ours, not yours. You have been through so much and yet here you are, a survivor."

Cadeon bowed his head in embarrassment. He'd heard only part of what she'd said, he'd been in his own thoughts. "Umm, it's a bathing suit. I'm sorry. I missed the boat on that one. I promise, I'll listen better in the future. Maybe I have heat stroke." He held his hand up to his head.

Jaxon shrugged and stated, " I've only seen pictures of pure blooded ones. Then my mutt reflection. But I look worse then them. I'm not completely half and half. But something else. That's why I have poisonous quills."

Luce looked to Jason knowing it was the time she was dreading. But he had important work to do. The sooner Markus was killed the better.

Elina nodded and admitted, "Yes, I feel so much better. Like a wound that's been lanced and the toxins removed. "

Omen knew, but played with them some more. "Aurora, help! They're leading me off to comfort and thirst quenching. If i don't come back, know I died happy again, but this time from happiness." He said dramatically.

Star smiled softly at Spyro then reaxhed over to touch his shoulder lightly, though she stayed against Falkirk. "No, it's no ones fault. I don't speak about that time, so you couldn't know."

Kyra smiled as she watched him for a while before going out to the tree limb to look down on the jerky and visually check on it again.

Ember frowned a little and reached up to check his tempurature. "Then you should drink some more to retore your balance." Sge said, though the worry left her eyes when she was sure he was not too hot.

Skylar frowned a little then nodded. "Well, at least ypou will be able to take care of yourself if ypu ever need to, despite what he did to ypu."

Jason reached over to wrap her in a hug again once the table was clear again. "I will do all I can to get this war over with quickly." He said then kissed her gently

Aaron smiled again "Then it was good and needed." He said happily "I am glad I was here."

Aurora laughed and followed them into the house as the girls led him up to the bedrooms so they could show him the room that would be for him to use.

Arkkien was completely focused on his flying. He'd heard stories about the last drone pilot. To pay out of pocket was not something he was trying to do. He'd found the signs of a domestic fire in the woods. It was either poachers or shifters. So here he was, canvassing the area looking for a camp site. He'd found the jerky drying racks, but hadn't found any signs of it's owner. Very strange in his book. Because that was a lot of time and effort involved, to just neglect the process.

Luce never wanted to let go. She melted into his gentle embrace. She eagerly returned his tender kiss. As their lips parted, she whispered, "Just be safe. It'll take as long as it takes. Just return to home to me. That is my only request."

Omen looked around the room and smiled at the girls. "Very nice! Are you sure this is for little old me?" He asked politely.

Degan was slowly closing in on a deer. He was about to charge it, when he felt an excruciating pain and fell limp to the ground in uncomfortable convulsions, as electricity surged through his body. He heard a male voice that said, " Force his shift! We can't carry his in his winged beast form." Degan tried to roar, but nothing came out, as he felt a stab of pain at an injection. He felt the effects almost instantly. It flooded through him and changed his form to his human one. This was new, he'd never had his shift out of his control before. It almost felt like a violation. But he didn't have time to think about it, because he was roughly picked up and carried. He once again heard the male's voice. "Ok, let's get Harbinger. This time we'll ambush him. Markus wants his fire dragon back. Do not fail. Who's bait to draw him out? Jamerson? You look the part. You three load that lion. We'll rendezvous in twenty. Head out!" Degan tried to fight, but the constant shocks at the back of his neck was too painful. He couldn't concentrate. He thought to himself, 'No!' He'd rather it was just him recaptured.

Gable ran point on the mission. The rest of his unit cautiously made their way to the cave. He looked at the beeping tracker, so Harbinger was in there. Gable was about to send in Jamerson, when movement caught his eye. A slow grin spread acrossed his face, as the dragon in human form came out. And better yet, he turned around to talk to someone. That was all the opportunity they needed. For he watched Ray aim and fire the bug zapper. With satisfaction, it hit its mark. "Bingo! That was too easy. Search the cave, find who he was talking to and let's get the heck out of here!!" Gable ordered.

Kyra looked around then went down to look over the meat, her tails moving with the sleight breeze that played through the forest. She had not noticed the drone as it flew around, partially since she never had looked up for danger.

Ember chuckled and picked up her glass again, tilting it towards him a little in a small toast before drinking some more.

"We do try to find a bright side." Skylar agreed and smiled at him. "Every cloud has a silver lining, though some are harder to find than others."

"I will always come back to you" Jason said gently then kissed her again before heading for the door. He glanced over to Anna, but didn't want to wake her

Spyro got a far away look, as he listened to his brother'smental message. He then looked to Star and relayed it to them. "My brother is with the queen. It seems she had offered Raine a compromise. Avalon has just got confirmation of his acceptance of the secret treaty. Castiel, Racine's personal Sylph, has just now delivered his reply. So there isn't going to be a war. Oh, and as a token of good faith, he had Vatgkan transfered to Avalon's custody. He's in a holding cell awaiting judgement.

Falkirk couldn't believe it. He was speechless.

Arkkien saw movement and focused in on it. But what he saw, was beyond his comprehension. "Well, well, what are you?" He asked curiously. He flip on a com link, "Bravo 2? I've git a unique biggie in quadrant 9. Highest priority."

"This is Bravo 2,. Roger that. We're gearing up now. Keep a vigil. ETA....25 minutes. " Riker said.

Jaxon frowned at her statement. "They do? The few I saw just looked white and gray, sometimes black. Never see a silver one." He explained dispassionately.

Elina slowly closed her eyes and waited for Aaran to close the distance between them to kiss her. She shuddered with the intensity of their kiss. It was life altering on a very emotional level. She gasped in shock, as a soft twirl escaped her lips. "Oh, Aaron! " She said surprised by herself.

Omen smiled brightly at the girls. "That sounds wonderful to me. I'll stay as long as they'll have me. " He said sincerely.

They were loading the dragon next to Degan in the SUV. They shut the back doors and waited for Jamerson and the rest to return.

Degan looked over at Pyro with questioning eyes. Pyro slightly shook his head. Saying non-verbally, 'No they didn't get Zia.' He knew they wouldn't find her either. She was such a smart girl and that cave has a lots of places for a small racoon to hide. He'd noticed that Degan eyes close briefly in relief and he had to agree. When the last of their men returned empty-handed. He celebrated her escape by sending up a silent prayer as he closed his eyes, 'Run Zia run! Don't look back.' He opened his eyes and refocused on the men that had captured them as they got into the vehicle. This thing on his neck was pure pain. But they had to take it off at some point and he was very patient.

Star thought about that a moment before smiling and nodding. "Good, at least no one will get hurt this way." She didn't know what to say about Vatgkan, since in his view she was his intended, though she did not love him. She turned back to Falkirk and smiled softly, leaning against his shoulder again as a soft twirl escaped her. She hadn't known she could make such a sound, but it felt right

Kyra walked alomg trhe racks, checking on each of them before heading baxk up to the tree to work on the baskets again. She glanced up before going in, but didn't see him through the foilage.

Ember smiled and nodded. "Yes, to good friends and a happy life." She said then took a drink from her cup.

Skylar looked to him then chuckled lightly. "It's mostly a saying, but I habve seen it happen before. It's something to show you if we see it."

Jason smiled at her and came over to write a note for Anna. "Thank you Luce." He said, writing quickly then looking to Luce again and hugging her.

Aaron was surprised by the twirl, though he loved the sound of it. "Elina, that was lovely. What was that?" He asked softly.

Eatelle and Elle glanced to each other again and smiled, "That sounds good." Estelle said happily then turned to the door again "Now for the tour!" She added in a dramatic voice as the twin girls headed back into the hall to show him the rest odf the house

A few wolves were watching the humans vcapture the dragon and lion. One was sent away to set up a surprise for them further down the road. They weren't going to allow anyone else to be captured if they could help it.

Falkirk closed his eyes in pure happiness. But his bliss was slightly shadowed because he held back answering her. It was unfair to her, because she hadn't know what a twirl ment. He instead kissed her temple tenderly and explained gently, "Careful with that twirl, Princess Star. It's a courtship call. To most fey, it's taken very seriously. But since you do not know of it's significance, I thought I'd share that with you. So you'll know next time you use it. Without someone taking advantage of you." He then picked up a piece of fruit and offered it to her. He focused upon her lips.

Arkkien frowned as she slipped into the tree. "No that's interesting. Bravo 2, the fox creature lives inside a massive tree. The only one of it's size." He informed them.

"Roger that. We're ten minutes out." Riker said.

As did Cadeon. He then set the glass down and flopped all the way on his back. He looked up into the canopy of the tree. He watching as the breeze made them dance in graceful movements. It was very soothing to watch.

Luce grinned widely, as Jason hugged her again. "I could easily hug you all day. Especially if it keeps you safe in my arms." She teased him.

Keira got up and walked over, seeing that Jason was getting ready to leave. But still gave him and Luce privacy.

Elina was too shocked at first. But she searched her feelings and knew it was true. "It's a Fey mating call. Usually when a fey uses that call, they are sure of their respective mate. But the magic happens when their intended calls back. Then it's a true bounding. That how it works with fey. I'm not so sure if it works for Gods. But that's how I feel about you Aaran. You mean everything to me and I never thought I'd find that in the human realm. " She said with heartfelt sincerity.
