Bertram followed after Ember with Jaxon and Garth in tow. After a brief discussion, they agreed it would be faster is they both rode Bertram. He shifted ans waited until the mounted him. Hr then ran full gallop to the perimeter. Once there, Garth and Jaxon both looking into the trees. Two sets of eyes wouldn't miss much. Plus Bertram's kelpie senses would ensure their unit would stay safe.

Cadeon put Bob on his shoulder and rubbed his hands together. " Alright, what are you doing here and what can I do to help you with it?" He asked enthusiastically.

Falkirk laughed at her joke and shook his head, "Never, I just wanted to show you this view. " He explained as he pointed out over the nighttime landscape. It's one of my favorite places to come. To think, to get inspired or to just be alone. But now, I get to share it with you, my shining Star." He cupped her face delicately and brushed a feather light kiss upon her lips. He pulled back just enough to smiled at her as he said, "I never want to be alone again. Because when I am, it feels as if a vital part of me is missing. "

Elina took a drink of her wine and listened quietly. She was perfectly content to sit and hold Aaran's hand.

The gem went in with the rest, being covered by the other things when she started stirring. The actual spell didn't take long and she picked up the gem to put it in a small bag with a spoon. "Remember, he has to be the first to ttouch it so it will attune to him alome." She said as she handed it to Kristen.

Kristen nodded and took it, turning to go back to the bedroom. "Thank you Jackie."

Avalon was very excited, she'd never met a God before. "Thank you for sharing your nature with me. I shall keep your secret if you like. Because in all of Anstopfia's history, a god has never crossed over." She explained quietly.

Racine stopped in front of Amar. He knew her for what she was. The last true bloodline of the unicorn. He pulled a long velvet case from his pocket. He handed it to her and said simply. "I killed the humans who had this in their possession. Your parents have been avenged. Just as I'm sorry for chasing you for my own purposes. I hope this is a welcome peace offering." Racine then turned and walked away.

Navar watched him leave and then looked to Amar as she opened the box. She gasped at the sight of her long lost horn. "Your crown of glory has been returned!" He said with happiness. As she touched it with a trembling hand. She then smiled in shock and nodded.

Orson took the bag and lovingly kissed Kristen. At the news, he couldn't help, but to feel responsible. "It's all my fault. Had I not been do foolish, then things would have been safer for all." He said miserably. But he took the bag and emptied it out into his hand. He looked at the beautiful gem as he held it up. It shimmered as the magic bounded with him. He then opened his shirt a few buttons. At his sternum level, he placed the gem. He chanted as spell and the skin split and engulfed the gem. When it healed, it had a ring of warding around it in graceful fey.

Avalon laughed openly delighted with here conviction. "Then we'll be on equal footing, since I've nothing to compare your godliness to. Aaran, I've always wanted to meet a god and I'm glad it's a god that is as humble as you are. I've read quite a few of the human histories and certain gods don't seem very personable at all. I do hope you're not offered. That was not my intent, I assure you." She added worriedly.

Elina smiled happily and looked to Aaran with deep admiration and respect. "He is one of a kind. God or not. I saw a God once, I asked his name and he said his name was Odin. It was in a vast battlefield of death and dieing. He rode atop an eight legged Sleipnir, with a large spear and two ravens circling overhead. She said absently.

Avalon was fascinated by this information. "How wondrous that must have been?" She thought aloud.
