"I'm sorry," Aurienne sighed, looking back with round, apologetic eyes. "I overeacted. I, I don't know what's wrong with me." Gaining control of herself Aurienne straightened and seemingly appeared more confident. "The door won't open," she paused, hesitant to ask after how she had acted. "Will you please help me open it?" She asked humbly, but noticed that he was already walking away.

Kyth hadn't made it but a couple steps. He stopped and turned to come down the rest of the way to the bottom landing. He looked to her briefly, before he went to check the door. "Perhaps you didn't overreact. I am a strange male and you are a beautiful female who can't remember how she got here. The effort of self-preservation, I believe you reacted exactly how you should have." He replied honestly after a few minutes of examining the door lock.

Aneurinne stepped away from the door as he said that. "How did you know that?" She asked stifly.

Soto decided to bound up a tree, and rested in the light, basking.

It wasn't long before the trail grew fresh. He slowed as it stopped at the base of a tree. He looked up at the sunbathing fox. Satisfied that his nose was still in perfect order, Arbus started off again. Looking for something else to occupy his time.

Soto barked at the strange beast curiously.

Kyth closed his eyes briefly at his stupid oversight. He was still unpracticed around people. "It was a far leap. You admitted as much on the roof." He replied confidently. He reached back to take a small tool kit from his back pocket and took teo small tools out to start working the lock. After some skilled finesse, the lock mechanism disengaged and the door popped open. "And we're free!" He said with enthusiasm, as he opened the door for her.

"They mainly consume plants, carrion, and other insects." Islanzadi told him. "Though, since they eat plants, many elves aren't fond of them. Because they'll occasionally eat part of our crops." She grinned slightly at how determined the beetle was to leave Cicero's grasp.

Cicero looked to Islanzadi and asked, "Should I let it go, then?"
