Danika smiled up at her then looked around again, moving away a little to kneel and sniff at a flower. "It's beautiful here." She said again then smiled up at Aurelius again, going back to her side when Jackie came out to see who was there.

Anna started telling him and those nearby what they had learned from the general about Menagarie and the layout and defenses they had noticed.

Kellan frowned a little but nodded "We would need to at least test these once before trying to fly and shoot them." He said then looked to Anna and Zypher

Foneth smiled at that and chuckled lightly "Yes, making new spells is a good pastime to have, sometimes dangerous, but good."

Bardou nodded and frowned in thought "Yes, the elders will have the hardest time changing, though even they should not be adverse to ending the slavery of others. We just have to make them see the good possibilities of that."

Sorcha stayed with him as they went, though according to the servants they saw, Nabal wasn't up yet, so Sorcha had a note made to be delivered when Nabal was awake.

"It tastes like strawberries, and a little like something else." Star said and finished that piece happily "I like that one." 

Aurelius enjoyed watching Danika's unguarded reactions to Jackie's safe haven. "Yes, it is so beautiful here." She said. She then noticed Jackie as she came out on the porch. "And here's the creator behind it. Would you like to meet Jackie?" She asked kindly.

Zypher listened intently. Not at all liking that the defenses were geared towards Fae as well. "Then it looks like we'll have to change tactics. I wonder if Fay could cancel out those wardings etched into the stone somehow?" He thought out loud.

Anna's and Zypher's conversation also drew Jaeger's full attention.

"So you make the spells in the archives? " Ender asked eagerly.

Avalon sighed softly, before explaining, "You would think so. But I've already had to have three taken to the dungeons and that was only over allowing love matches. They were outraged that anything was allowed to break intended status matching." She leaned back in her throne and looked out over the empty space. "How long before I run out of space in the dungeons? Or before I'll have to make an example of my powers? " Avalon thought aloud.

Racine smiled pleasantly as Sorcha returned to him from delivering the sealed message to queen Nabal's servant. "Ready? " He asked quietly.

"Strawberries? Is that an earth fruit?" He asked curiously.

Aurienne smiled, shyly turning away. Somehow she knew what he said was true. She respectfully stood back as he talked with the receptionist, not wanting to overhear there private conversation.

Kyth whistled to get Aurienne's attention, then motioned for her to follow him to the elevator.

"I follow the instructions on the recipe but they usually just blow up in my face. Sometimes quite literally." Taylor said sheepishly. "You're going to have to teach me a thing or two. I need some basic survival skills."

Kristen relaxed a little bit,"Okay. Magic. Fun. I've been memorizing a lot of spells but I've been practicing magic detection recently. You know like breaking invisibility spells, sensing magical beings, all that stuff. Probably not extremely useful in our present situation, but it might come in handy. You never know." She shrugged,"Got any suggestions for what to work on next?"

"Please Markus. I need at least some extra resources. Anything can help. I can retrieve them and figure it out myself but I... Nevermind. Find." He gave Pariah a grateful nod,"Thank you. That will definitely help. I'll have information by the end of the week sir. You can count on it."

Nashton reached his hand across the table to comfort Taylor. "Hey, as long as I'm alive, we'll never starve." He said with almost a straight face. This whole conversation was so ridiculous, especially in light of their current circumstances and the war they were locked in.

"Good! See that I'm not disappointed. Until the end of the week then. I look forward to what you find out." Markus replied as he stepped through the portal opening. Pariah stepped in right after him, she looked to Axel and stated, "Happy hunting. Oilins are difficult to catch on a good day."

Maggie gasped she had wokeing up for the fourth time that night and kicked and shook the bars of the cage, only to leap back seconds later, trying to avoid the burning pain,"SOMEBODY HELP ME!!!!!"she screeched, hoping someone would come.

"Good idea." She nodded. "I'll make sure to work on them. I do have one memorized. It's a binding spell. I haven't really been able to practice it though. It's "comprimo"." She looked up at him and grinned,"I also have a spell to make people shut up. That could come in handy."

"I know. I've let them slip through my fingers before. Never again." He stared at the big screen. If he wanted answers he would need to go into the dark circle. The one devoid of cameras. He had last picked up the two Oilins in that area, so maybe whatever magical creature was there knew where they went. He turned to the portal before it shut,"Markus. The dark circle on the map. You said you've infiltrated it before. How? Are there any magical protection spells or beasts defending it? Anything you can tell me at all?" He figured that if Pariah couldn't sense them nearby anymore, the Oilins were no longer there, but it was worth a shot.

Jackie waved at hem when she saw them. She wondered about the young girl and who she was. She waited for the pair to come up to her, smiling atthem both "Hello and welcome"

Anna glanced over to Xatia and the others, motioning them over "Is there any way to stop these etchings from affecting any of us before we go in?"

Foneth chuckled and shook her head "No, the archives are a record of all the spells any great dragon has made, not just me. As the princess, I am the keeper of the archives, they also include the written histories that we have here." She informed as she went to a cave entrance to go inside

Bardou was quiet a moment or two, just thinking about that "There will always be those who do not like change, but they are usually in the minority and most of them will be able to be talked to given time. There will be some small number that would be willing to fight for their beliefs, we cannot let them though."

Sorcha smiled at him and nodded "I am ready and the message will be delivered when she gets up, so we can go" She said happily as she reached for his hand to walk with him.

Star nodded and smiled at that "Yes, there was a patch near my waterfall, so I would be able to eat them when they were in season. "

Age: Really really old but looks about 25 ish
Gender: male
History:First born child of Priam and Arisbe, daughter of a water nymph, he lost his birthright to the throne to his younger brother Hector. He learned the art of interpreting dreams from his grandfather, who was born with the gift of prophesy. His father, Priam, left his mother in favor of Hecuba. Aesacus remained with the royal family as an advisor, rather than a prince. He warned Hecuba of the dangers of her unborn son after interpreting one of her dreams, and out of jealousy told her to kill it, which led Paris on the path to destruction, rather than saving the city of Troy. He had known the consequences of his actions would result in the destruction of Troy, but he did it to tear down his father's throne. Because of this, the gods punished him severely by killing the woman he loved, Asterope, and cursing him with eternal life. While he was mourning, he was changed into a diving bird. He can shift from form to form. He was captured by Axel and has been locked up in the same cell for the past fifteen years, alone. He used to interpret other prisoners dreams for them, but his suffering combined with their future suffering drove him to the brink of insanity. Since then he's refused to interpret dreams for anyone.

Personality: He's self-centered. He doesn't have much of a spine. Sometimes he has these random fits of anger, but most of the time, he just sits around, sulking. He has a tendency to blame other people for his poor life decisions. His only fear is pain. He can't die, but he feels pain more than other people. He's very talkative when you get to know him, but he mostly just talks about himself. He does have a lot to talk about though, because he's been alive for so long.

"It heavily guarded by both. I wouldn't try crossing that perimeter, only shifters can." Markus replied before the portal was closed.

Only shifters. He didn't have any shifter he could trust not to make a run for it when they were alone. Maybe he could draw the dark-circle shifters out. That would work if he knew which one he needed to ask about the oilins. Maybe he knew just the person. "Thomas!" He called out,"Cell 412. I need the shifter there to be escorted to the debriefing room. The surgery needs to be canceled. I don't have time to worry about it." Thomas nodded to a guard on his left who nodded back to Thomas and left.

Racine closed his hand around Sorcha's. He was perfectly content to walk with her. But he was also compelled to offer him mate a ride. Very few knew what his Fae animal looked like and he wanted her to see it. "I would like to offer you transport to the portal. My Fae form is fast and agile." He said with immense happiness.
