Anton grabbed ahold of Shaylee and tried to awake her by shaking her gently. "Shaylee wake up! They're trying to take you away from me! Do let them do it. Please don't leave me here all alone. I can't.... I can't be left behind again. I thought we were friends? Why would you want to leave me? You promised you wouldn't. " He sobbed piteously.

Shaylee 'woke' in her mind, looking tirdly to Anton. "Anton?" She asked and glanced around, still seeing herself in that blank room "who? I'm not leaving you." She said, reaching over for his hand. "I can't stay awake Anton."

Asclepius twitched as another thread was severed, but the grip on her mind, though slipping, wouldn't release. "What is it?" He murmured as he took a breather for a moment. He adjusted the various crystals. He wasn't particularly psychic, so he couldn't look into her mind itself, just feel the magic spell rooted there. "Is there a witch, sorcerer or other spellcaster, one with psychic abilities?" Asked Asclepius. He braced himself, preparing to start again. "She may need help to escape whatever maze she is trapped in." He turned to continue the healing spell, stripping away layers of restraints, suggestions, blocks... Some of these blocks were a different color than the black ones. Things hidden were being released. Shaylee arched suddenly. Asclepius stopped. After releasing the blocks, she had started seizing. He held her down until the seizure stopped. He would need a psychic to guide him any further.

Pariah laughed manically at Slygotha's reactions. "That may be, but soon you'll see the error of that statement. I own everything you desire! " She hissed with pleasure. Then with a wide wave of the arm, the treasure instantly vanished from the vast cavern revealing a once hidden Valstrath at the bottom. "Capture it and throw it in with the others!" Pariah ordered relentlessly, as she turned to lead Slygotha away by the chain that manifested from her collar.

Slygotha stood, wavering, her arms outstretched. She fell to her knees. 3000 years. That's how long she had been gathering her treasure. Gone, stolen. She looked at her white, soft hands. Her bare, tender feet. Everything about this horrible body was soft and vulnerable. Trapped. Small. The words regarding her young didn't cut her heart at all, as much as she loved them and felt a motherly tenderness towards them, she had lost enough broods through the years that she could compartmentalize those feelings. She didn't expect those who hadn't brooded less than 30 times to understand how a broodmother feels about her young. What cut her to the core was the loss of her life's work. Her hands trembled, tears rolled down. The chain jerked her away from the home she had made for the last 2500 years. She was lost. Broken. Overwhelmed. She was pulled roughly to her feet, but they didn't seem to work. She needed to think of something.

"We need her mate" Fay said worriedly, watching the two then turning "I will return shortly" She said, speeding away through the god's realm to get back to the Menagerie She had to find Ravek and get him away and to Shaylee quickly before they lost the princess. She appeared in the security room, looking to the monitors "Where is Ravek? His mate needs him now"

( I figured I'd get this now, I'm still working on the other. I'm two screening it. Lol! )

Ackley jump at the suddenness of Fay's arrival. "You about scared me into my grave! Umm, Ravek just arrived with Zypher's group down on the third floor. " She informed as she brought up the video feed for that floor on the large screen.
~~
Ravek blasted a power orb to give Zypher's men time to spread to get strategic positions so they could lay down cover fire for the others. It had been a bit if bad luck to have walked into a group of soldiers coming in for supplies.

"You have too! That's how they win! That's how they take you from me. They want you to sleep and be stuck in your mind. Feel my hand around yours, it's real. I'm real. They will try to make you believe I'm not. That I'm just a voice in your mind." Anton explained desperately. He squeezed Shaylee's hand for emphasis and held on to her tightly.

Fay noticed his look and frowned as she looked to Shaylee then back to him "Why don't we change this and I will go up and take the case out while you work on her? I can take us out to a field near a lake where she will be safe" She offered.
~~~
(lol, I see Klingon ships from Star Trek, that odd movement over the stars they had right before one would appear)
Aurora flew over the mountain, looking for the part that wasn't real so they could fly in just as the helicopter flew out so often. She knew that was a favorite tool for Markus and looked forward to removing another from his stock, along with the building.
~~~

Kellan looked over to Maxton and nodded to him "Go, and good luck" He said then glanced to the others before closing the portal back once the last of the vans were through then moving to be ready to open the portal to the bottom floor.

Anna watched Maxton, since she would be going through his portal.

Jason would go through with Xatia when she was ready to.

(I think, lol)

~~~
Sorcha nodded and smiled at him "One of ours and one of Avalons, working together could be part of the solution to the larger problems as well. Spyro is trustworthy and he will know which others to trust here too." She offered.
~~~

The male nodded, following his partner through to Ettenence, where two others were waiting to take their place. They dipped heads to one another before he took off, flying quickly for the castle so Jackdaw could deliver his message.
~~~
Auger shook his head then looked to Spyro, uncertain of whether to admit it hadn't been planned before deciding to just roll with it. He straightened and looked at the others before returning to his natural size so he could keep watch better.
Foneth chuckled softly, reaching for Spyro's hand "Your hand is enough" She said then closed her eyes as she connected them so she could teach him the magic of their people.
~~~
The dragonkin dropped down to the ground, following the wyrmling into the underbrush to try to grab her once again. She didn't want to lose the infant and have to explain that to Pariah. She spotted movement and leapt forward to grab the baby dragon and hold on tight.

The other finally reached the area and had to land, sniffing around as the trail ended in water. He growled, searching for the wyrmling in agitation before breathing ice on the water in frustration.

( Lol, I dropped this last time. I know! That's such a cool effect. I can just envision that with dragons popping into view. :eek: )
Aeval smiled as they closed in on the mountain top helipad. She noticed a Cherokee helicopter parked there with its gleaming red and white paint. But even better, no alarms were sounded thanks to Aurora's water magic.
~~~
(I don't know, maybe Kellan could be with them?). Degan slipped out from behind the wheel and softly closed the door. It was strangely quite on this floor. Aurelius had quickly shifted into her griffin form and moved cautiously down the hallway with the group. The others were armed to the teeth and ready for anything. According to Xavier's floor plan, this floor was dedicated to the laboratories. In no time, they came to the glass enclosed rooms filled with scientists busily working.
~~~
Xatia stepped forward after Ravek had gone through. She called forth her floors portal and moved so the vans could go through before following to close the portal behind them.
~~~
Racine dipped his head to her sound logic. "Very wise represent both houses and diplomatic." He conceded gracefully. He had to learn it wasn't just him anymore. "Spyro is a good choice. Even I'm inclined to favor the Sylph brothers." He admitted. The fact that he'd stopped time to save Ender was testament to that fact.
~~~
(Time skip to getting there? )
Jackdaw looked around as they flew. Ettence held fond memories for him now. Even through his heartache.
~~~
"Oh, okay. " Spyro said nervously. He swallowed hard as Foneth took his hand and began. As the connection went through, he jerked at the unexpected clarity of the bond. He made a sound of wonder as her knowledge poured into his mind at an alarming rate. "Wonders never cease." He said breathlessly.
Ender was pleased that the last two Sylphs shifted into their great dragon forms. It was amazing to see the ability awakened in his brethren. The guilt of earlier dissipated into pure joy.
~~~
Nevitha squealed at the surprise of being grabbed. She hissed, bit and spewed acid almost simultaneously.
~~~
Razeth was now buried deeply in the bottom of the river. He was very determined to stay free and avoid capture.
Fay looked at the screen then patted Ackley's shoulder "Thanks" She said before vanishing again, this time appearing near Ravek "Ravek, I need your help" She said, glancing to the soldiers then taking something out of her pocket and throwing it towards the group. "That will slow them down for five minutes, use the time wisely" She said to tZypher then focused on Ravek again "We found Shaylee but she's trapped in her mind. She needs you"
Shaylee looked at their joined hands then back to his eyes again "I know you are real Anton, I can feel your hand in mine." She said then winced as pain hit her. She felt someone holding her down, though there was no one there? She didn't understand what was going on now, then the pain eased as did the feeling of being held down, leaving her gasping for breath and scared. What had that been?
Razeth was now buried deeply in the bottom of the river. He was very determined to stay free and avoid capture.
Aurora saw the helicopter too and grinned, glancing to Aeval "you want that, or can I have it?" She asked teasingly. Oh, she had found she liked making that thing into a useless pile of metal scraps. She came down to land and allow Garmr to dismount before they would attack the building
~~~
Kellan looked at the scientists as they worked then to the group he was with "Want to sleep-spell them or take them and tie them up?" He asked softly, watching the workers curiously. What monstrosities were they cooking up in there?
~~~
Jason led his group through the portal, looking around before shifting to his wolf, the normal one, and making his way down the hall, scenting for recent smells that would indicate if anyone was here. Ugh, this place smelled like cleaners more than anything else. He moved, checking the doors then pausing to let his wolves clear the room before going to the next.
~~~
Sorcha smiled at him and reached for his hand, gently testing to see if Avalon was still busy or not to ask her and Spyro in a more round-about way. She was glad that she and Racine could work so well together
~~~
(lol, yep)
When they arrived, the male landed outside the castle, dipping his head and neck so Jackdaw could get off and be able to go inside. "I will wait here if you need a return flight" He offered. Yeah, he liked his dragon form and didn't want to go inside since that meant shifting.
~~~
Foneth smiled at his words, letting the flow of knowledge end when she had given him as much as she could. "There, now you and Ender will be able to give this knowledge to the others as you want or need to." She said then looked over to the other dragons standing or flying around excitedly. Now they had nine great dragons here, even if they weren't fully ready to fight.
~~~
The dragonkin called out then grabbed her by the back of the neck, using her ice breath to try to knock out the baby with shock at the quick strike to the back of the skull. She would then ice over the acid injury before trying to take off with the baby's weight to head for the humans and rest, hopefully.
~~~
The dragonkin male growled as he searched for the infant, not liking that he couldn't find him here. He started searching in a circular pattern, going both up and downriver to try to find the young beast.

Pariah laughed manically at Slygotha's reactions. "That may be, but soon you'll see the error of that statement. I own everything you desire! " She hissed with pleasure. The dragonkin there would go to grab the infant, carefully making sure it couldn't turn and spit acid at him as he did. He would then let the humans tranq Valstrath and put him with the other infant, ready to be transported back to base.

Markus came in to see what the hold up was and looked to Slygotha with curiosity. "She's crying. That's the last thing I expected. " He replied matter-of-factly.

"Only for the loss of her treasure. She's more like you, then you'd think." Pariah commented flatly.

"Watch it, I'd think you were judging me harshly. " Markus said with humor. He then moved to crouch down nearby Slygotha and asked her, "Can you not walk? Do you require someone to carry you?" He looked to Pariah and asked, "Can she even understand me?"

Pariah looked to Slygotha and translated what Markus had asked her.

Slygotha glared at Markus. " This is my home, my life. I am connected to the very stones here, the plants and animals. I am queen here. In the world, I am nothing. I have nothing out there, especially now. I've lost my life's work in an instant." Her long hair obscured her features, falling across her face. "Even my mate is gone." The hot tears flowed, leaving a trail down her ivory cheeks.
She stood, her head down.
