Anton smiled as Shaylee returned to him. "Oh thank goodness! I thought they had won and captured you. I'm glad you came back to me." He said with relief.

Ravek frowned as he heard the male's voice in Shaylee's mind just before the like was closed off to him.
Ravek opened his eyes to look to Asclepius. He shook his head and admitted, "Her mind snapped shut to me like a door slammed in my face. She doesn't know me and there is a foreign person deep within keeping her trapped within herself. He repeated the words he'd heard to Asclepius.

Shaylee looked to Anton, holding his hand tight "It hurts Anton, but that voice...I know it, I know him, but I can't remember him." She said weakly.

Fay came over to them, offering the water bottles again "She is weak, she needs her strength back, unless that will make the spell stronger too?" She asked curiously, looking from one to the other.

Slygotha instinctively crouched as the dragonkin growled at her, yet the icy blast caught her shoulder as she ducked. She roared out in pain, but what escaped her was a screaming cry. It echoed sharply about the empty cavern, the stones reverberating with her pain, rumbling ever so angerly. A small shower of pebbles rained down within the empty lair.
"I have been cursed, Valstrath, forced into a human shape," she lamented, stretching towards him.

The dragonkin shook his head and headed for the entrance, or where he thought the entrance was, holding the wyrmling tighter.

Pandora roared with eagerness as Aurora easily destroyed the strange equipment. It hit the building with a fiery inferno as the fuel ignited. Aeval smiled proudly to Aurora as they heard the screaming of humans from inside.

Degan and company didn't waste time in securing the scientists with zip ties and gags.

Aurelius stayed with Kellan to watch his back as he focused upon the occupants of the rooms.

Keira shifted and walked over to a large water filled bag and look down at a seemingly sleeping male. She reached forward to poke at it curiously and gasped as she fell backwards, startled when he opened his eyes to look at her. "Jason! They're aware!" She said with confusion.

Racine glanced up as Enoch arrived first. "My king, my queen. " He replied with a slight bow to each.

Spyro hurried along to get there as fast as possible. He was thinking about all he'd learned from Foneth as he did so.

A few of the newly shifted Sylphs experimented with new battle techniques to hone their skills.

Ender moved back to set close to Foneth and her guard. "You'd think them children with a new toy." He said with slight humor.

"Thank you your highness. However, I lament that this is not a social call. If I could have a moment of your time, Queen Nabal. There are grave matters that you must be informed of." Jackdaw said solemnly with as much respect as he could impart.

Nevitha was quickly tied and put with her other captured wyrmlings and Reaper.

Razeth continued to sleep in his meditative state.

Aurora roared too, landing and looking for her next target to destroy it, letting the fire do it's work on the main building for the moment. Yep, destruction was their mission up here for now.

Kelan smiled to Aurelius after the second room was down and out then moved to the next. Yeah, sometimes magic was really good to have and use in a war like this one.

"Yeah, they are alive, but how much have they been programmed to hate us already?" Jason asked back, looking at the computer "I think we can shut this down now, the oldest will be "born" let's hope they haven't had time to program the hate for us yet."

Sorcha looked to Enoch and smiled at his arrival "Racine told you what is happening?" She asked to be certain.

Foneth chuckled softly and nodded "Well, in a way it is, they have new bodies and flight now." She said and looked back to Ender again. "You flew all the way to us when you woke."

Nabal straightened then nodded, waving the others off until she was alone with Jackdaw and some guards.Being a queen meant she couldn't just be alone with him. "What have you come to tell us?" She asked, more formal now

The dragonkin laid down, watching the cages then the cave with a hrmp. She was glad that was somewhat over with, even if the boy wasn't here. After a moment, she heard something from the cave and sighed, getting up to head that way.

It is as though the spell were embedded to keep you apart if once you had come together again, built over another spell even deeper, self inflicted. It is quite complex..." He looked back at his collection. "Most of these references are my cherry picked favorites, but I have a much bigger library in my home, so long as it remains. It has been warded, so it will be as long as it is, I guess.... Tell you what, I'm going to set up another array here, a ritual of rest, clarification and healing. She could definitely use it. She will need to stay while it is working. I would like you to hold her hand, but don't try reaching out to her. She may come seeking you, and that is good, but the spell won't let you go to her. There is some sort of Deeper Magic it is built over, something making her forget you. If we can shake the spell this cage is built on, perhaps it will all come down. I have a text in mind I need to retrieve, but I won't be gone more than a half hour, and she may make progress on her own if she can manage to get her strength. Through your mated bond, you may be able to give her some of the renewal she needs, just loving her and holding her hand."
Asclepius retrieved just a few other crystals, rearranging, sorting, tweaking, then sitting Ravek on her right, he bid Ravek to take her hand. He activated the spell, then watched the princess's reaction carefully.

Anton shook his head and implored, "Don't trust it. It's all tricks and lies to steal you away from me. They are messing with your mind Shaylee. Trust me! I'm your friend and you know me for sure. I saved you before after you gave make back my horn. Our magic is strong together. You gave me all the power I have now. I was nothing before you. I cannot go back to that existence. It's a bleak and cold reality."

Ravek had never felt as powerless as he did now. Even with the loss of his memory and magic. He looked to Asclepius with building dread and mounting heartache as he spoke.

Shaylee was quiet, holding Anton's hand though she felt someone holding her other hand then...tears? She looked to that hand and frowned in confusion at the tear stains there. What was going on? There was no water in this place, yet she had the physical evidence right there on her. "Someone tried to come in Anton, who was it?" She asked softly then looked to him

Shaylee seemed to relax a little more as Asclepius activated that healing spell and Ravek held her hand. It would certainly take a while to regain her strength since she had fully exhausted herself, but it was working without triggering the 'cage' her mind was in.

Valstrath thought of what his broodmother had said. That it was possible to shift into a smaller shape and imagined himself as a two-legged meat bag and something happened. The dragonkin's hold upon him was lost. He then clung to his broodmother as closely as possible.

Aeval growled as some humans came from the treeline with automatic weapons. She call to the elements that were available to her to build a wall like shield to block the bullets.

Aurelius's head turned at the detection of movement. A science had come out of a room down the hallway. Upon seeing them, he dropped his clipboard and hurried to the alarm switch on the wall. The place came alive with a loud alarm with flashing lights along the ceilings.

Navar froze mid step as the alarms were sounded. He cursed and hurried along to get to Markus office. "The gig is up! What happened?!" He asked Ackley through his earpiece.

"Not too sure, it's a manual alarm. I'm trying to bypass it now. You'd better hurry down that hallway, you've got three bogie's head straight your way. His office is located on the.......where is it? There it is! The last room in hallway on your right! Good luck Navar! Stay safe." Ackley informed as she went back to trying to deactivate the alarms.

Keira cocked her gun and aimed it before ahe asked tonelessly, "Shouldn't we destroy them all?" She hadn't removed her gaze from the male after regaining her feet. He was passively watching them through the vinyl like sides of his artificial womb.

Her brother shook his head and whispered, " Sis, it's not their fault. They're victims in all this, as well. Right, Jason?" Vasper looked to Jason, his fist alpha in a long time.

Enoch nodded solemnly and confirmed, "Yes, my Queen. He gave me full disclosure. You need not worry about them getting through us, I'll give them all I have. As I'm sure Spyro with assure as well."

Racine smiled pleased with the reassurance and looked to Sorcha, "Where is Queen Avalon now?" He asked quietly.

Horrvis choose that moment to flutter down to land close by. "It is wondrous indeed. Such power and strength, I feel I could fly forever. " He said in a deep voice. His great dragon form took on a blueish tent to his pearlescent scales.

Ender nodded understanding for he'd felt very much the same thing.

Jackdaw fell to his knees and relayed the entirety of the past days events and the dire message of whom was behind it. Only then did he dare to look up to her gaze. "What is your reply for my queen?"

Reaper watched as the dragonkin left them to go back to the cave. He growled angrily, the only thing that he was capable of doing since movement was not an option. He searched with his eyes to count his wyrmlings with him. Nevitha was the newest addition to the others. Gugol was looking better by the minute. So only three thus far. Half were captured. He prayed to the dragons gods that his mate was safe with the other three. But would she find where Nidhogg had gone to ground? He hoped she would.

Yeah, anything too young to live outside the sacs was going to die, and likely a lot of those that simply couldn't get out on their own. "If they haven't been programmed to hate us, then they may join us."

Sorcha dipped her head, liking that report from Enoch before focusing on seeing where Avalon was now, so they could go there together. She would take Racine's hand and lead the way there.

"Yes, strength and endurance is natural to our dragon forms, though I suspect they are natural the the sylph form as well. We have never been a weak people physically." Mentally was obviously a different matter which was shown by the sylph form to begin with. "We are quickfire, our emotions can get us into and out of situations we may not always wish for."

Nabal was silent for a moment then looked to him again "Please, get up. This is something I must talk to the full council about." She said then stood and came closer "Though if it were I alone, I would say fight for our two realms, since we are connected and the fate of yours would not long be outlasted by ours. A decision to go to war must be a majority vote among the council as well as myself. Rest here or return home as you wish, I will return as quickly as I am able" She said then turned and left the room, already calling for the council to be sent for and brought to the meeting hill

Cora, Byram and Amelia all stopped, circling and looking towards the castle then over to Starr and Falkirk with worry as a call in their native language sounded over the land.

The unnatural darkness made the dragonkin stop and turn around, coming back for a net. Something wasn't right here and she wasn't taking anymore chances. She flew over to the cave, watching the entrance from high above with the net in her claws.

The dragonkin had lost the trail. He had nearly made it back to the cave when he stopped flying in his search pattern, though he stayed just out of sight of it. He growled and headed back out again. If the infant had gone home, the others would catch it, but if he hadn't then he would be in trouble if he returned without the baby.

Slygotha teetered somewhat gracefully for not using her human shape often. Clinging to her son, she gingerly made her way towards the entrance, the blackness flowing out like a mist, the tendrils creeping along like a living thing as she moved. Nearly exhausted, she padded along as quietly as she could. Stopping often, she listened carefully in the heart of darkness for movement, and cautiously sniffed the air. During the firestorm, much of her beloved bog that made up the landing was evaporated to nothing, a brittle, scorched Earth, the pungent, acrid smell of burnt sulphur mixed with overcooked crocodile. It would take a while for the population of crocs to recover from this disaster, she thought. She desperately sought the water, where she could sink down into the mud, although her obnoxiously long hair would get in the way. She stroked Valstrath gently to reassure him as she broke out into a run, hugging the rock face and aiming for the jungle canopy, the blackness writhing like a living thing around her in a huge bubble.

"Excellent, she's doing better. Ravek, you are doing great! This configuration will last until I get back, but I shouldn't be there long. Be careful!" Almost as an afterthought, Asclepius snapped his fingers, remembering something. He dug into his desk, retrieving a fist sized bloodstone, pulsing with earthly strength and power, then handed it to Ravek to hold in his other hand. "It will make sure you are strong, and well grounded. It can help with keeping your emotions balanced, and lessen your anxiety through this stressful time. It will assist you in helping your heart touch hers, without you needing to touch minds. I'm hoping it does something useful."
Grabbing the spell scroll, he unraveled it before teleporting directly in front of his home in the Carpathian mountains. Several birds leaped into the sky, started by his sudden appearance near the rocky summit, but there weren't many people this far above the tree line. He glanced around cautiously before taking on his natural form.
