*Hides* I can't tell the difference between our eggs and store eggs..

The one thing that I think sets fresh apart from store bought is when you crack one in the pan.The store eggs run all over the place and you can't hardly flip them.
Also they are kinda rubbery when you hard boil them. Plus just think, you know exactly what is in the eggs you raise and that makes them taste better to me.

I have my first three eggs in the fridge and just checked and one of the hens is working on the 4th. Can't wait to finally try them.

I'm stunned - those are the absolute favorites for mine. I grow a ton of greens for my family - chard, spinach, mustard, collards and so on. I have enough that I can go into the garden each day and cut a few leaves off each plant to throw over the fence to the girls (they free-range - the garden is fenced off to keep them out). They pretty much won't touch the Swiss Chard with the silver stems but will eat the rainbow chard. However Kale and Collards are what they go nuts over....
