Have at it! Mine are also 2 months old and looooooooooooove being outside. Still working on the coop, so they are in the garage and need some fresh ait from time to time! When it is above 40, I take them outside and watch them while they explore.

So fun!

PS Just noticed you are in VA, too! Finally getting nicer outside here!

Yes, they will love it. Just watch out, they are hawk magnets at that age.

Mine are 6 weeks old, and just spent their first night last night outside without heat. Only got into the high 40's last night, so it was a good night to get them acclimated.

what kinds r they? man you are lucky!!!! 40's already! lol its still in the 30's or below here!

Our high today is predicted to be 55*. It's 48 right now. My Mama Hen has her two week old babies outside.

To take chicks that don't have mama outside all you have to do is provide the role of mama hen.

They'll be fine outside. Just keep an eye on them and protect them from predators, If they start acting cold - bunching together, peeping loudly - they're telling you they need to be warmed up again.

Mine hatch in the coop under a broody and stay out all day starting the first week. The current batch hatched during a cold snap when we had lows around 15 and highs around 40. At 2 months they are fully feathered and ready for the coop, day and night, so they will be fine and will greatly appreciate it.

I don't think they liked it much..all they did was huddle together..and then the one roo was mean to another not normally in the group with them, so put him backmin the box.

They were like where are we, and what is this strange grass stuff we are on..it was kinda funny

I kept reminding them..look loves you are chickens..that stuff is grass and ground..hour to love it..

But nope they weren't hearing a word I said..lmao

Oh and my foyer would greatly appreciate it too

Lmao
