Himalayer! I have a rooster that’s now laying eggs????

LOL no he was isolated and we found 2 eggs from him in a week!! Strange world we live in...

There's no possible way another chicken or human (or other pet) could have put the egg there?

Yes, in further research I have indeed discovered that hens can crow like a rooster! Not common, but it is done.
Had never heard of such a thing before...

My daughter's mother-in-law had a crowing hen -- who was also her best layer.

I had a hen with spurs, not rare, but she acted masculine too.

Hens can sound like they are crowing, I have a hen that is really really loud it almost sounds like a crow

Hi all, I have a rooster (3years old) who has started laying eggs!???? Yes, after years of awaking the neighbourhood with his throaty crows, he has begun egg laying! I’ve never heard of such before... has anyone else?

Do u have any hens in the same coop? U could be mistaken for another chicken.
