Himalayer! I have a rooster that’s now laying eggs????

Hi all, I have a rooster (3years old) who has started laying eggs!???? Yes, after years of awaking the neighbourhood with his throaty crows, he has begun egg laying! I’ve never heard of such before... has anyone else?

Some hens can take on the traits of a rooster. Larger combs, crowing even mounting other hens. But you will never get any fertile eggs because it’s still a hen. And I believe it will still have female hackle feathers.

Yes, in further research I have indeed discovered that hens can crow like a rooster! Not common, but it is done.
Had never heard of such a thing before... I’ll get that photo up here when I find my camera

LOL no he was isolated and we found 2 eggs from him in a week!! Strange world we live in...
