I couldn't resist... Grabbed another couple EEs. Its an addiction i tell you.

Anyways, I'm trying to nab some blue-ish EEs. While this chick below is clearly a brownish red color, I couldn't help but notice the blue/gray down on the shoulders. Does down ever hint at adult colors? Will she sport some blue around her somewhere? Generally curious. Her wing color otherwise is a wild black type color.

The other EE i grabbed had light blue silvery wings so I'm confident she will get some blue in the future. (The one on the back left. I'll get better pics)

In case you're wondering, the 3rd chick is a BLR Wyandotte (i got lucky with this one! It was the last one!!!)
Opinions???? :D

Today when I took another look, that blueish down looked more dark gray. :( and the pictures sort of show that too. But guess we will have to see when she feathers out more.

The one on the left looks nearly exactly what my last year's pullets (greyish with a hint of blue wings) - she currently looks like this:

Whatever her color will be, she sure will be very pretty!

I have 4 EE’s with blue feathers, the pic really don’t show how pretty it looks! I didn’t notice the blue color until they lost the down feathers.
