Ok so I have 8 sexlinks, which about 5 have been squatting for almost a week and a half... I haven't heard the egg song yet tho. Btw, all of my pullets are 17 weeks old. Everybody says they'll lay soon, but with the info given, how many days or weeks do u think I have to wait?

I'm an obsessive nest box checker! Help!!!

I have plenty of hens lay NOT in their nest box and I don't hear a peep out of them. Have you looked around very thoroughly?

17 weeks, you may have a few days to go. Or you've got a hidden treasure pile!

They dont get to free range very often, so there's no stash anywhere. And I have checked every single nook and cranny of that coop andrun... Anybody have an idea of *how many* days?

I have both red sex links, and black sex links. They are 18 weeks old. Hate to tell ya .... I still have no eggs from them.

They are looking pretty red in the face (some of them) and only a few are squatting. BUT, I am still waiting! Heck, they haven't even checked out the nesting boxes!

I'm with you. Two pullets at 23 weeks. Yes, 23 weeks, and still no eggs. No squatting either.
