Did they vet say anything about restricting his movements any until he is healed?
He seems to move pretty fast in spite of his leg. Wondering if all the moving around aggravates the leg and hip joint?
Did they talk about it they will try to bring the leg in closer to the body or is it always going to be splayed out a bit?

That's the problem. Vet isnt answering my questions. Too busy. Doesnt care. Who knows. Told him it doesnt appear to sit right. He told me it looked fine to him in video. I said it been 5 days and he abandoned even using the left leg one legged hopping all day yesterday amd this morning. Vet said to bring him back in and I asked at what expense again?

I'm sorry the vet isn't answering your questions, how frustrating that must be.
I'm not very experienced in leg problems, so hopefully someone else might have a better idea of how to proceed.

The vet said she would take a look tomorrow. He calmed down and has been laying for today. Its so hot. They all have been laying. When i checked his right leg, the good one, there is a lump and bruise, possibly a blood blister. It doesnt look good. I shouldhave taken pic but dont want to bother him again. He is beyond cuddling and consolation.

Anyway the splint isnt correct. He couldnt put his leg in the proper position since the appointment. Other than having suffered from some very low morale and some swelling from my diy splints, which had subsided in 2 days and some freaking out on my part because I was running out of time, on the days prior to his vet apt his skin, joints and coloration were PERFECT. I should have taken a pic of that!! Even the vet commended me on keeping him healthy and treatable. Anyway once his morale recovered I knew that physically there was still a chance to treat him which is why I wanted to pay a vet to save him. I dont want to play the blame game but I swear to you, physically he was 100% treatable and if she was not sure of what she was doing she should have said so. Now I am afraid there is nothing left to do. I will wait and see what she says tomorrow and go from there.
